I'm just mad that my skinny jeans don't have enough room for all my tactical gear. Duh.

You are in this thread. Why?

PS: Don't answer please.

I'm sorry, I thought this was a forum where people were supposed to share ideas.

Which major magazine/newspaper do you shoot photos for?

Might make sense if I were running around with a D4, 28-70 2.8 and a bag full of telephoto lenses, but in reality I'm a hobbyist so I don't need any of that gear in the same way that people who shoot recreationally look absolutely retarded dressed up in tacticool gear when they go out to the range.

Pot meet Kettle? I guess Im guilty of playing army because I own a black condor 3 day bag that I use for camping and road trips.

Who said anything about you? I was making a broad statement, and one which is pretty common in the gun world. I believe the term most commonly used is, "poser". if you really want to compare a guy who wears jeans, boots and t-shirts while shooting photos to someone who looks like they're about to jump out of a helicopter in Iraq for a day out at the range sorry but I don't really see your argument.

Guys, I'm not here to talk shit on your guns. I find guns and gun culture to be interesting, hence why I stop by here all the time. It's a good place to learn about something I have an interest in. Contrary to what this board might think I'm really not anti-gun. Let's dial down the personal attacks mmk?

Wearing comfortable, long lasting clothes that fit well and are made in the US by skilled laborers and carrying a bag to house my gear which I used on an almost daily basis is practical. The fact that you feel the need to attempt to discredit that is pretty pathetic.

Not trying to start an argument here guys, I was simply agreeing with an opinion that had been voiced prior to my comment. Sorry I'm not tacticool enough to fit into your "civilians who want to play army" thread.

Tactical shit can EAD. Trying to play mercenary/black-ops when you've never been in a combat zone is pathetic.

Gave my Leek to my brother because he lost his, gave my Opinel to my buddy as a housewarming gift. Not sure what to get now. Thinking about another Opinel, this time in carbon steel. Sweet little knives, even if they can be a bit clunky for a daily carry. Opinions?

My Pantera 2 with the sprayed purp 7kas. Fuck that bike brings me back. I think this was when I first started running my Nankai. Pretty much the best feeling bike ever.

I've always liked the Odyssey cassettes, however, I know they've been hit and miss. For the price it's not exactly a huge gamble. Can't really go wrong with a Ratchet either, but some people say they have a noticeable amount of driver lag. I never felt it but I'm also used to running a freecoaster.

there's a pretty big lack of standards in bmx.

DING DING DING

Of the standards we do have a large percent of them go ignored by companies unfortunately. In the end this mainly hurts the end user as we're the ones who get to try to figure out solutions or buy different parts in order to ride.
