New Hoffman Razz grips. Had the Cult/Vans grips on for 9 months. It was time for a change.

Tightened all my spokes a 1/4 turn. Love that ping sound the very next ride!

Albie woah dude that looks really nice! Flatland I take it? The headtube, 14mm drops, and bullet-tapered stays look tasty...

Could you actually reach every surface in the bearing, like the inside of the outer race?

Yep, bearing completely disassembled. Use a safety pin to pop the bearing seal out and use a tiny screwdriver to wedge the body apart. Set the bearings in a bowl with WD40, wipe em clean, and then regrease with Finish Line or lube of your choice.

^Just so you know, any WD40 residue that was left behind will break down the new grease. I'm not saying you need to take drastic measures to "fix" this "issue," but you may want to avoid doing that in the future.

Yep thanks, but I would think wiping it with a clean towel is good enough...or no?

Removed my lower integrated headset bearing, popped the seal off, and thoroughly WD40'd and wiped the ball bearings clean. New grease inside and reinstalled. Ohhh so smooth!

On another note, I pulled off my cult vans grips and flipped them both 180 since they were starting to wear out on the inner flange.

I won't ever put up with a woman limiting me on what I can I buy--bikes or in general. You only live once so if you want it or need it, then get it.

Cleaned and regreased my front end then installed a new lower headset bearing. Apparently, slogging thru rain can get your beaings a little crunchy when dirt gets packed in.

I've been using Odyssey spokes for years now, but when I built my new back wheel recently all my local bike shop had in the right size were Primo and Proper ones, I knew how much the Primo ones tend to stretch out so I picked the Proper. I shouldn't have because they're proper shit. Poor quality spokes and going from 48h to 36h has made me need to fiddle with it far more than I'd like.

Bummer, now for your next set you can appreciate a high quality spoke.

Today I sorted out the broken spokes in my wheels; 5 spokes in the rear and 7 spokes in the front.

This coupled with the new Bluebird chain last week has made my bike roll nice again.

Good feeling. I only use the DT spokes from now on and yeah, those bluebird chains are the best.
