I've actually never cleaned my guns to be honest aside from running a boresnake thru the barrel of my 1022 during breakin as recommended by Green Mountain.
Hoppes is supposed to be pretty good stuff though from what I hear.

The mill needs to get here so I can cut these rails!
Barrel bushing is fit to the slide. Nice snug fit. I need to break the edges and polish up a few surfaces on the slide but its really nice. I'm impressed with Caspian's quality!

I'm still waiting on the mill to arrive. Backorder got bumped back to the 14th of this month. I need to cut the slideways, drill the plunger tube holes, ejector holes and mill the barrel bed. I'll post photos on Friday.
