so since the ar will be complete in 3to5 days what should i do next?
my list no specific order

1911
10/22
22/45
.38 snub
ar pistol .22 first the ill build a .223/5.56 later
some kind of lever gun

Handle the 10/22 first, then a 1911. You'll be dumping a lot of cash in the 1911, might as well get the 10/22 out of the way quick as they are fairly cheap to buy stock. Modifications and aftermarket parts aren't much either. 1911's are pricey. I need to take some updated photos of all my stuff.

Lets go to the range soon. My 10/22 hasn't been out in a while.

Handle this... 60%ish 1911 castings. No machining has been done but some parts are good to go with minimal/zero fitting. This is pretty much what mine started out as but it had a few of the holes finished already. I may pick up one or two of these...

Pretty sure all of it needs to be done by the final owner.

This definitely sounds like something that I'd be interested in.

Looking at this:
http://www.tacticalmachining.com/products.php?pid=28#images/490_345-80-lower.jpg

All I'd need to do would follow the mapped out finishing steps and pick up an upper kit?  $80 sound deece for the receiver above?

Here is most of the basics. Most 80% will be pretty much the same work as this.

I'm going to look into the legalities and limitations of "build parties". If there are no hoops to jump thru i'd be down to set one up for the guys in the area to finish up a bunch of 80% lowers at my house.

Speak to me about this.

Details?

TM sells lowers less the FCG pocket and a couple holes. There are jigs you can use to finish these on a drill press or mill or you can lay them out by hand/DRO and do them without the jigs. There is a bunch of information on cncguns.com

I like the Tactical Machining stuff a lot but if I'm going with an 80% I'm going to track down a yellow logic. Lowers are simple enough though, I could bang one out of barstock at work or home if it really came down to it.
