Come here for winter. I'll talk in Fahrenheit so as not to mince words.
We set a record for February weather. An all time record. Average temperature of 9.32F (-12.6C). Coldest day without the windchill factor was -5.8F (-21C). (We did not have a single day last month that was above the freezing mark)
With winchill, we had a day of -41.8F (-41C), and during that week, we had spats of -25F to -31F. There were a handfull of homeless people who actually froze to death outside. It was pretty bad, and the amount of watermain breaks the city had was off the charts. One guy had his SUV frozen in a solid block of ice for a week before the city crews could get out to help him de-ice it.
Please, come take all the winter you can carry.

Nah, looks much nicer and is lighter in person. Tyler Gillard was riding it last March and has been putting it through it's paces for a while. I would venture a guess as to it's been re-worked a few times sine then, but should be close. (I hope)

File the dropouts, it's not as bad as you think it is.
As long as you go nice and slow, measure every step of the way, you're fine.
From the top of the dropout to the bottom, you'll measure 10mm. File the lower part of the dropout until you hit 12mm. Flip it over, repeat on the top until you hit 14mm. Bingo.

Nice work. They skipped a few things as you said. Metal features on the base, and the wood trim between the metal panels looks quite a bit thicker. I'm happy to get the satisfaction of seeing the end of this one.

You've ovalized your bars. Take the bars off, look at the clamp section. You'll see an imprint of the old stem. New bars, sorry.
