I plan on getting a G19 some day.  You just can't beat them for the price.

Mac Sandwich, you should just get yourself a Glock in whatever caliber you want and call it a day.

It's pretty much been narrowed down to either a Daniel Defense M4V3 or a Springfield MC Operator for my next purchase. I can't decide!

I'm going to post this in here simply for the fact that there are guns involved and it's fucking amazing:  USMC Silent Drill Platoon.

Yacqueli/Couch, do either of you know what the major differences are between the Daniel Defense M4V2 and V3?  Their website doesn't do a great job of differentiating between the two.

I ended up going with the Lone Wolf Blackfoot.  I couldn't pass it up for the price.

"The blade is 3.00 inches long built from CPM-S30V steel for great edge retention and toughness. We heat treat, temper and cryogenically freeze each blade to maximize the properties of this exotic stainless steel. The blade is also titanium nitride coated for a great looking non-glare surface that is very tough. The liners, pocket clip and other internal components are stainless steel. The pivot hardwear and liners are heat treated to provide extreme toughness and wear resistance for a lifetime of rugged use."

I'm liking the more robust style that Couch and Yacqueli posted.  What is the advantage of the composite blade on that JYD?

Does anyone have experience with Lone Wolf knives? Specifically the Blackfoot?  I'm not against paying more for a higher quality steel.  I want this sucker to last.

What does everyone have for knives?  I'm in the market for a quality one that I can carry around on a daily basis.

Maybe you have heard problems with the drop in .22 bolt carrier groups?

A dedicated .22 upper would have the same problems as a dedicated .223 upper, just depends on the build.

How is your Springfield doing?

Could be with .22 bcg's. I honestly can't remember the specifics in any of the ones I've heard about so I can't be sure.  I do agree that that would be the way to go instead of a dedicated AR 15-22.

I actually haven't shot the Springfield yet.  I've got my last two finals tomorrow so hopefully I can make it out to the range after or some time later this week.
