That escalated quickly, from Chinese carbon to Pace/Dr Swiss in two posts

They're likely to be warranty returns so probably on the same level!

Bottlerocket looks sick.

Hopefully this stuff will be the first nail in the coffin for fossil fuels too.

How did you think that would come about? There would be a huge demand on electricity infrastructure. The famous Thames plant is powered by??

I was referring to increased use of renewable energy sources, Solar, Wind, Water, Geothermal etc, hopefully they'll be come a lot more prevalent in the coming years.

Ah yeah, looks good, similar to what I was planning. Spoke to my bro in law, he works at Pace and might be able to sort me out with a frame so fingers crossed, that would be ideal, maybe wangle some DT Swiss forks off him too.

Been thinking about building up a relatively cheap XC style hardtail for bezzing about local woods and trail centres on, keep the fitness up when I can't be arsed going out on the roadbike in Winter / Spring, reckon I might get a chinese carbon frame, I know there's always horror stories but after trawling forums and websites all last night the response seems to be 99% positive towards them. Probably go with the M8000 XT groupset and some second hand Rock Shox or something. Probably Superstar wheels.

Sounds about right G. In the future owning a car will be a thing of the past, you'll pay a monthly contract like a phone and get picked up as and when.

Bottlerockets look so much fun, I nearly got one myself but knew that for the riding I was doing it would have been useless. Wish I still had my Mondraker, might have to get another MTB for next summer.

Yeah Danno, loads of flapjacks and cereal bars should do the trick, maybe a couple of gels for towards the end, stop 60 ish miles in for some cake and a coffee or something too to break it up a bit.

Just do it all black, you'll get bored of anything else.

Could high altitude training be considered doping? I was watching a doping documentary the other day and they mention testing blood cell count in it. Just curious. Sorry if its a dumb question, just curious.

It wouldn't be classed as doping but some of the Columbians (Quintana etc) grew up cycling at high altitude so that could be a factor.

Some people disagree: http://inrng.com/2013/04/colombia-cycling-altitude/

Yeah, The Jinx is superb. I'd avoid Dear Zachary, definitely a tearjerker.
