I have an original Flybikes rim, i noticed the first hole to the left of the valve hole is not on the cross lacing side.
So i assume you're supposed to start lacing it with the second hole on the left of the valve?

You have to build it like a mirror, is how i would describe it. Eclat and BSD rims are like that as well. Basically, instead of starting to the left of the valve and going right, you start at the right and work to the left.

I busted a chain cranking across a parking lot at a dirt pile jump thing. Somehow managed to not lose my teeth or use of my knees, but definitely road rashed the shit out of myself. Honestly, I'm not sure I've cranked that hard since.

I got about 2 years out of a Profile aluminum inner axle with a substantial amount of peg abuse before I broke the inner axle. My cult 'shemale' style axle is holding up quite well as well, and I spent a lot of time this year doing some stupid fuf-ice type shit on it. Still have never broke a 3/8ths female bolt and its been a few years.

Honestly, if youre just riding and cruising sans pegs, you shouldnt have any problem with the Profile aluminum inner axle.

Is it just me or in that cutaway does it look like the clutch just engages into aluminum?

I've built like 10+ wheels using these hubs and nobody has called to complain. Its winter in Canada though so I cant imagine most of em have seen too much in the way of action yet.

I was really bummed that they didn't stay 1 inch.

Same. I dont have a problem with bars slipping, but I do have a sickness for the thickness.

182 3x for just about any non aero rim. 2 extra turns on the drive side. Most of the time. Your mileage may vary and all that shit.

2 extra turns on the drive side?
wow had no idea I was supposed to do this. I just try to keep the tension even. Running mine at 4x btw

Different sized flanges. How is your wheel dished?

The shoestring sucks too, but you might get an entire session out of it, instead of a single grind.

Ive been thinking about CA gluing a few set screws into it, and using a nut and a washer to hold it in place. Im pretty lazy though.

I just unlaced a rim then laced it back up. The outbound spokes on the drive side are ~7mm above the inbound which are snug. What the hell did I do wrong.

Check your crosses, sounds like you missed some.

Im closer to 30 than 20 I think Sashas seat and frame color combination awful, to say nothing of the mismatched wheels. I definitely know some 16 year old kids that would be into it for the color though.

There is a difference between the regular 7X and the Super 7X. Apparently the regular 7x was shit, but I cant say for sure, as all the Araya rims I had when I was younger were the Super 7Xs, which were great until the chrome flaked off.
