Hoping to catch my first race in 4 years on Sunday! If the snow clears that is.

Goggles for BMX? Why?

I think it's just a trend. Over the past 15 years they've come and gone. Back now I think because of pros racing the SX tracks. It makes sense there due to the speeds and danger, it's more lf a protective layer than anything to do with dust or roost. Non pros are running them again because the pros are. my 2 cents

I started racing in the south with no soil tac tracks and the amount of sand in the clay there is unimaginable. I rode without goggles for a while and now it's just habit. The sand will get everywhere and in your eyes. Lenses get ruined less than 6 months after purchase because of the sand getting all over everything. Love me some red clay.

Bringing this back but who else actually lives here in the CO? Once the weather clears up I am down to ride.

Honestly, I say give it a go. Ride any bike you got that has brakes and have fun with it. The great thing about racing is you get what you put in. If you put in a lot of fun and good times you get that back. If you train relentlessly and spend money on go fast parts you get that back. So either way go catch some gates, laugh and enjoy the racing man.

Milhous with all those trail rigs you got built I know you have to be a good rider. Novice! You should hit that inter class! I'll be in the 28-35 inter class next summer! Let's race at a national!

Oh yes Evolve indoor park is open, but no place to get gates right now or a little racing.

Man it's -6 in Denver today with snow on the ground and I have had/ recovering from the flu since Christmas. So fitness and strength is down quite a bit. Can't wait for some good weather to roll through. There is no indoor here in CO either so that really bites.

I am getting back to it, rode some Dirt Jumps and trails this summer along with skateparks. However after a 4 year hiatus from racing I have really put my head down and want to get back to the squat rack and long days hitting first straights. I know a lot of you come from BMX and are now doing other cycling disciplines, but what about racing?

Dan atherton built the course for the last few months to show some progression. He has built some amazing stuff like the quarry. http://youtu.be/6RXpU7ibr-c

World cup winner in 4x, pretty quick DH dude and enduro racer and loves to dig. Absolute genius when it comes to dirt.

I would love to see more courses built like this for the men and women with apprpriate sizes for women.

Riding in the Nike satire sb and love them. Flexible upper, sturdy footbed and good grip. I want to try the busenitz from adidas.

Do you all feel the need to support BMX backed shoe companies or just whatever feels good to wear?

Yeah definitely Allah. But they are too different animals, you can smash rocks and roots like it's a few pebbles on the ground and flowing trails is a great feeling, but I do love both.
