After ringing my insurers and being told it'll cost me another 200  a year if I declare alloys, I think I'll just stick with shitty looking wheel trims after all haha.

16", should be big enough. I don't want anything too massive since I drive loads and have got used to the comfort of big tyres now ha

Decided I'm finally gonna buy some alloys for my Golf this week, what do you guys think of these MSW 22s I terribly photoshopped onto my car?

I decided to finally buy a new chainring as my chain started slipping off when I gave it the beans resulting in a few knee to stem incidents.

People always used to rate the Santa Cruz Blur 4x, if you can find a cheap 2nd hand one of those that might be a good shout.

I still say try a Scott Voltage. Funnest bike I've ridden. I don't really ride techy dh stuff, it's perfect for the trails you're on about - fast and flowy with loads of jumps. Put it in 150 or 160 mm travel for the shock, get a 160 mm fork like a Lyrik and you're set. I'm actually using a 150 mm Sektor with mine at the minute and it still rides good.

Lock on grips are fine, been using odi rogues for years now. So much easier than fucking about with normal bmx  style ones.

No real resolutions here other than dedicate more time to playing guitar and getting my music recorded rather than sitting around getting baked with my mates every evening. That and ride my mtb more. I may start a body weight fitness routine soon as well as I'm bored of the dumbell workouts I've been following for ages.

Dumped. Other than that I got some cool stuff including a new coat, a brass guitar slide and a nice new wallet.

Changed all the pivot bearings in my mtb. Fuck me, what a mission. I wish I had a single pivot still because I can't be fucked doing that again for a long time! My old bullit had pinch bolts rather than this press fit shite, so much easier!

I ride DH, just built up my 2nd Scott Voltage and I hope I don't have to sell this one to pay for bills like the old one. It's so fun, I haven't ridden BMX for years now. Spent a summer in Whistler and it was pretty much the best thing I've done in my life.
