I'm only 5'9" but would like to give one a go. Didn't get on with the Sunday 20" I had for a while, it was alright but felt way too twitchy. Then again I was trying to ride trails on it when its really a street bike.

Me and my mates camped out in some random woods last night and I found a really nice little spot for a few jumps and berms. Gonna go back there later in the week and start to clear out some kind of path and get planning some lines. Thinking it'd be cool to start it with a small ladder drop in.

Has anyone got any links/guides to trail building for a complete noob? For starters what's a good technique for clearing out and packing down a track to link the jumps together nicely?

I sold this a few weeks ago and kinda miss it already. My Allez is obviously a nicer bike but it's not as fun, seems a bit boring.

Don't have any pics but I miss my old Federal Division 21" in black. It was my only proper bmx and felt great.

Not pictured is a Zoom h4n, Sennheiser wireless lavalier setup, lighting kit + reflector, DT100s, libec tripod and a shoulder mount which is yet to be used..

Last thing I learned that came close to resembling a trick is being able to jump properly and clearing some doubles. Started tweaking it a bit, working up to tabes.

A little AM radio/amplifier and another little audio amplifier with 1/8" jack input. Not very exciting but they both work. Oh and an infra-red audio transmitter/receiver.

The stuff in this video is bloody mental.

By the way, anyone near Bedford, there's a new bike park just opened near Chicksands, called Greensands Bike Park. Apparently it's "like chicksands but newer and not run by pricks" haha. Probably more suitable for mtb but they've got a 4x, dual, pump track, DJ and maybe getting some north shore. BBQ at weekends, £3 a day or £10 a week. Looks pretty good to me, I'm gonna go check it out in the week. May also be doing their website, so more info may be coming soon!
