the highest I've ever been off the ground, on a bike, was on my Liquid.

Find some dirt jumps and roast 'em!

made another one. Threw some paint on this, after carving it, using my airbrush. My camera sucks but this fades from black on the underside to a dark purple around the skull area.

Hand tooled leather. Fairly happy with how it turned out. I have since cut a slice in the teeth for the pivotal bolt.

The Lounge / Re: Do you like old or new bike companies?

subtle "I'm getting old" thread. ;)

I don't give a fuck about companies, with the execption being I can't support the big companies that abandoned bmx in the late 80's. (haro, diamond back, mongoose, redline) I don't hate anyone that works for those companies, more power to 'em. I just can't/won't give them my money.

Early 90's bmx was one of the best times in bmx because it was only the hardcore. S&M, Wilkerson Airlines/2-hip, Homeless Bikes,Standard etc. But honestly, I'm still SUPER stoked on bmx today. Even though I don't ride as much or as hard as I did 20 years ago.

As long as my bike is dialed, my body is healthy and I'm chillin' with my bmx friends, its FUCKING AWESOME.

What size staples did you use to re-staple the new cover and where did you find them?

I have a Liquid. I didn't really ride park/street with it (i could, just prefer to ride trials) but that thing ROASTS some dirt jumps.

I like the "in the bike" feel as well. But honestly, I can ride any frame(within reason) just as well/bad as any other frame.

That probably doesn't help you at all. :)

Quit when you want to quit.

The way I look at is, if a doctor says I'm too old or whatever, I'm talking to the wrong doctor.

I'm 44 and don't plan to stop any time soon. I also separated my shoulder over the summer. Grade 5, which I guess is pretty bad. Guess what, don't care. Not going to stop riding.
