The one thing I will fully agree with him on is the stealing of music. If someone is going to cut corners and bypass paying for (potentially) thousands of dollars worth of music rights, I have no problem with bypassing paying $30 for the video.

BUT, banning people for posting something that nobody's really gonna go out and buy anymore is a bit harsh IMO. Anything older than like 6 months and it's out of date, really. A whole load of new shit'll be released and those who didn't buy it, probably won't.

But yeah whatever, rule's are rules.

If some kid gets banned from a forum for a two weeks, nothing negative happens to him. Hell, he might even read a book or stop worrying about the Ti content of his frame.


But if some kid posts a link to where you can download the latest shook video for free, a few dozen kids might end up not buying the video. The Chad Shackleford might not cover his rent cheque for that month.



Which outcome is worse, really?




Not to mention the fact that if scenario number 2 does occur, Doug could very well end up with his ass sued, and that's two people getting fucked over in life because of one link.

It was lame a year ago when the last comic showed up and it's still lame. And I bet a large majority of the forum posters don't even recognize them, given the abundance of new people.
