Have you slept in the freezing cold in your car with gloves on your feet lately? Or was that just a one time deal?

Ha. Forgot about that one. Nah, can't say I've done anything quite like that lately. Life has slowed down significantly since I moved. I did get some middle-aged jack offs kicked out of a hotel after pissing on all of their stuff a few months back though.

So, yeah, Ginger, I'm still a massive arsehole.

BPN banned me and it caused such an uproar in the subforums that he ended up banned. It was comedic genius.

Dan, I still check in every couple of months. I rarely have much to say so I don't.

Things are pretty alright for me. I moved to Boulder, CO a year ago and just relocated to Denver. Life out here is much slower than it was at home. I just totaled another car so nothing has changed in that department. I believe that was my 14th car in 12 years (not all due to wrecks).

I work at a tech company write now splitting my time between support and content writing. It's nice to be out of the service industry but I miss the social aspect.

Not to completely sidetrick the thread (someone make another if ya please), but how has everyone been?

I got to pass through Minot, ND once and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was full of internet cool kids. What a dump.

TAH was awesome. When I got banned for ragging on BPN a bunch of those dudes (and guys from the Penthouse) helped me try to sneak back in. Good times.

Does B. still post? That guy was such a dick to people. I loved it.

Weren't a lot of the original guys from around Alberta?

I'm having issues with the last trick challenge of every level. I have pulled them multiple times each but it never logs a completion. It's frustrating as shit.

Super fun game though. I've wasted way too much time playing it already.

You ass. Hank Chinaski's post in the old comic thread has been the last post in this forum over a year. You ruined it to rehash this?

I was just wondering, I want a kid around 22-ish. I don't want to be the old fart Dad.

I used to think that way. Now I couldn't imagine having a kid.

I mean not to harsh on anyone with kids but at my age, the way I conduct myself, a kid would completely negate my way of living. I enjoy going out drinking and hanging around being dumb far too much to have a kid.

Now that I've passed the age where I anticipated a kid being a part of my life I couldn't imagine giving up what I've got for a child. Too much fun exchanged for too much responsibility.

I'm shocked that out of anywhere he'd want to live in KC. I really do not like that place.

I understand that and respect it. But i don't think that's the case most of the time. A lot of the members here are younger and don't really have a well developed since of manners yet ( I'd say i'm still on the curve aswell) So of course offencive  or stupid comments are going to be made. But the way they are delt with are for the most part wrong. When a new member here does something "wrong" i guess you could say, They get bitch out and get an imature negative reaction( It is the internet so there will always be a bit of this) But who ever is offened should just be like "Hey that's not cool man I don't think you should be saying stuff like that"

How are these young, immature comments treated when thrown around in such a diverse group in real life?

I'd say similarly.    Message boards are that different from the real world. Sure, people's personalities may be complete 180s of their outside selves, but the basic dynamic is there.

Hating on new members is silly. It's become one of those trends that you only do it because you can and you think it's going to get you cool points with some of the more respected members.

I think you look like a cunt if you bitch out a person new to BMX or Bikeguide just because they arn't educated on the sport enought yet.

people need to understand that seldom do people pick on "noobs" simply because they're new.

When you join this place it is no different than joining any other circle of people in life. There are people that have been around, know each other and know how to kid around and get a long. When new people come in they see this and try to jump in on it. Sorry pal, no one knows you. Until you give me a reason to like you, I'm not going to assume you're a cool dude. I don't dislike people because they have a low post count, but no way am I going to treat them like I treat the people I've known for over seven years now. That's stupid.

I am not PM'ing anyone as to why I deleted a thread!

That shit takes too long. If your thread got deleted, get over it. It sucked.

Ah the good ol suddenlaunch days. If it wasn't for this site I never would of been able to predicted that your steering colom on your van was about to exploude. Sure enough It did. Glad I wasn't there for that, and that you didn't get hurt heh. Ahh the magic Bikeguide posses.

haha. I completely forgot that you called that. That sucked, man. I loved that van.

Damn. I've been on these message boards for way too long. I was on Ride for awhile before the suddenlaunch board.  I've probably been on these since I was around 14.

Carbondale is not an hour from St. Louis. I live in Granite City, the closest IL city to St. Louis and Carbondale is roughly hours away. Not a huge difference, but a difference just the same.
