Non-riding Photo/Video/Multimedia Forum / Computer advice 3.2GHz vs 4GHz
« on: December 23, 2014, 06:55:27 PM »
The time is coming for a new computer soon. Right now B&H has a refurb iMac for a pretty good deal as far as I can tell. It has a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 Quad-Core and the new ones can go up to 4.0. I don't know about computers like that. When it comes to processing HD (and 4k in the future) footage, how huge of a difference will it make? Worth a good bit more of money in the long run?

The Bike Shop / Anyone that remembers Nate Hanson Grips...

Anyone recall if they were about as thick as the old t-nez grips? Also if they were particularly long or short? I found some and if they are that fat and not oddly short, I might go for them.

Thanks!

Looking for a low frame with a short rear end?

yep! if the benny l had a 11.5bb it would be ideal. Also I've become accostumed to a 75.5ha, which makes my options less. I'm sure I could adapt to a 75 again but after this long I rather keep with what I know works for me already.

The Bike Shop / 69 degree seat tube angle and seat/post types
« on: December 16, 2014, 08:49:39 AM »
Ok here's the deal. Unless I get enough money for a custom, next time i need a frame I'm getting a benny l frame. its the closest i can get to custom for me. I had a frame with a 69 degree seat tube angle before and it put my pivotal seat in a weird position. it was either way too cranked back or so flat forward that it looked pretty off. I was curious if anyone had a picture of a tripod seat set up on a frame with a 69 degree seat tube angle so I can see if that works better with it. Thanks.

torn pcl and some level of meniscus damage, MRI to find out soon. Riding with a brace and going well with that so far.

Clearly my intel was weak on that profile coaster, even though I heard it front he guy that brought profile the design. Weird.

I sure hope we see the coaster from them who's patient stopped Profile dead in their tracks with their FC plan.

oh damn

haha yeah of course that patient could be the g-coaster stuff, which I think we aren't suppose to expect soon?

Is their freecoaster running on pixie dust? Wheres the cromoly drive side guard? Is the Simian hub real or something Skomar made up while smoking ice?

Atop that, what has Odyssey not told us about, I'm sure we'll see something nobody knew about pop up at interbike..

Bikeguide stickers may have never happened, but meatco stickers should.
