Common courtesy is grounds for being "such a nice person"? I'd hate to meet your normal people.

Most people that I've filmed with get all "in the zone" or just frustrated after a bit and do tend to hog the area they are riding pretty hard. It might be "common courtesy", but it's really far from common.

WD40 is a degreaser.  It would have opposite effect.

Yeah, luckily my bike shop employment drilled it into my brain that WD40 should never touch a bike, so I went for the white lightning chain lube option.

Bahahahaha not gonna happen,my collapse was a piece of shit.

No matter how much lube was on it the stiff links would always return.Fuck that chain

I fear I may have the same experience. Lubed it, spun it around, and when i let a crankflip rip it came around, but felt like I had a freecoaster on, like full force to kick a single CF. My buddy is real stoked on the chain and doesnt do that trick, so if it doesnt get better after a few rides I'll sell it to him.

got my 25t mds and khe collapse chain on today. Dry sprocket on dry chain felt rough, hopefully a little lube will bring it back tot he same level of crankflipability that my old set up had.

My MDS came in today and while it isn't on my bike, just putting the chain on the sprocket in my hands it looks to fit quite nicely.

Last night I used a wire brush wheel to take some rus toff my bars, then i hit them with some clear coat again. They probably look worse now, oh well. MIght take them off and polish them up real bright sometime.

i didnt get the MDS yet, so I dont know. I did compare the width of a shadow and the khe and it doesnt look any wider, so it should be fine.

my sprained knee is making me mostly look at my bike lately. Might go for a mellow cruise tomorrow, only because a friend is in town (because it will probably set me back a few days). When my doc's people stops dragging their feet and i get my medical records, I can get with this trainer and get my various beat up body parts under control and ride for real!

Trimmed my race cruiser bars down from 27.25 to 27 (picky I know, but I had a grinder, so it only took like 2 minutes. Tried to modify my stock post to let my seat sit at a better angle, but it didn't help much. Cut my post down. For my street bike I got my new 6mm profile bolts installed and a friend let me barrow an Odyssey Senior seat since my old seat was held together by tape. Velo needs to hurry up and get Profile's new shipment of seats to them so I can get my butt ont he fat seat i want.

Profile actually make those? I was going to grab some B6 bolts off Dan's but I might just get some of those if I can find some...

Yep, Profile makes them. Not sure where to get them, as I got them straight from Matt Coplon, but I'm sure if you give Profile a call they can get you headed in the right direction.
