Yeah, the berm is gone now. I kind of liked it, but Marco wanted to change it up. We're building a big double off to the side of the 1st jump (you can kind of see the beginning of the landing in the pictures) and a big roller to trail gap/transfer booter thing after that.

I probably can't make it over there today. Thanks for the heads up though.

Not so wild yet, but slowly making progress...

I recently started working at this spot again. The jumps are going to get built up a lot over the next few months. I'll post some more pictures as it progresses.

We got a bunch of dirt from the school a few weeks ago, it's pretty much the same stuff as whats down there though (if not worse).

I'll try digging in a few different spots to look for better dirt.

So, the dirt at our trail is horrible and full of rocks and sand. Our idea was to mix it with clay, but the clay we have available is just so dense that it's almost impossible mix in a realistic manner.

I've basically just resorted to using the bad dirt as filler and burying everything under a layer of clay. Obviously that's not ideal but it works.

Sounds like a shitty cast stem pinched.

It's just a weird one-off thing I think. I've seen pinched stems come from lots of different companies.

TCbmx, that's ridiculous! T-1 is lookn great.

I was having trouble with that particular lever, lots of clicking/poping from the cable head. I tried to sand off any burs and grease it, but that only lasted for a few weeks. Hopefully the bushing fixed it, feels great so far! I took the idea from an early 80's mountain bike I saw at the shop one day.

It basically just helps to reduce friction and keeps the lever smoother for longer. The main pivot points of levers and calipers are usually made of brass for the same reason, why not cover the cable too?

I reworked my brake today with a new linear cable and pads, I also shaved down barrel adjuster on the lever and made a brass bushing for the cable head.

Nice, that's sick.  Do you use it?

Yeah, I've been using it for a few weeks now. Definitely has been a learning experience! Haha.

Here's a 1850's straight razor that I restored. Built the scales out of repurposed bamboo.

Added this to my set up today, stoked on it.

Awesome! I think you'll really enjoy shooting a compact.
