I just saw a NIB Springfield TRP at a gunshow.  Debating wether or not I should trade the Sig for it.

TRP  is an amazing 1911 and you can sigs at good prices all day.

I don't normally respond to Euro trolls in a thread based on freedoms that you don't have but you over looked the entire tactical advantage of the firearm they are training with. Handguns,carbines and shotguns. each gun has a different application and will be use for different missions.

Its a god damn handgun with an ar15 size/like bolt and carrier, gas operated and enormous...maybe about 4 pounds.

they weigh almost 5 pounds not loaded and no mag.
with a mag and  50AE you are looking close to 7 pounds
