GBB will bust your bank account and become totally pointless 9 months of the year with the climate here. It's not warm enough to work. Plus mags are about 5 times as much and the accuracy and consistency is horrific.

Muchos fun to fire though.

AEG's are fun, but just not as fun.

I want to do an AR10 with my own little details, but I also want to do a Remington 700 in an Accuracy International stock. I love bolt actions, but I also love a huge magazine sticking out the bottom of the receiver... maybe just do both? I have a bunch of prints and drawings for all the AR parts and a few of some bolt actions. One day I'll have a few of each. We'll see. I need to finish this 1911 first though. I want to do some more work on my 1022 as well.

10/22's modification are limitless; so I look forward to any work you do.

So Savage copied the A5 design, nice.  Mine is like 28 inches long bbl and just a monster.  I think it holds 8 in the tube one in the chamber.

Not exactly hunting worthy...

I have a save auto 12 gauge that looks just like this.  Either savage copied someone else or someone copied savage or this is the same receiver.  Very cool gun.

That is a Remington Model 11, which is a copy of Browning's A5.
Which is one of the longest running production guns ever.

Neckbeard bringing back the old school...
I was mostly making comment on all the "tacticool" crap that people seem to love bolting only things... For me, it's simplicity... M4 with an Eotech 552. Job done.
Rifle based... probably a Remington 700 or perhaps an M14...

Don't get me wrong, I love me some wood furniture.
It is just easier to get people stoked on some rails and aluminum,
than it is to get them stoked on some real steel.
