How do you like the FN? Im seriously considering one but dont know anyone that has had one.

traded my sp101 chambered in 357  for this thing. 5 mags and trijicon night sites.I believe it has less than 200 rounds through it. I havent had time to fire it yet because i was at SHOT and doing all types of other shit. I plan on running a bunch of rounds through it and not cleaning it. Ill report back soon enough.

the 1911 is amazing. i own 2. but there are combat pistols in 45 that are just as solid.

Why not just fit a 9mm slide/barrel on the 1911 you usually shoot? The grip angle and lack of similar controls isn't going to help with training.

Its going to be cheaper than a new gun, you won't have a ten day wait, you hate Glocks and while somewhat blasphemous (9mm 1911) you can shoot the 1911's more.

1911 in 9mm = bullpup rifle.

I figured I might as well buy a glock and if I don't like it then I can sell it. Plus The after market parts list is huge and really want a Tupperware service pistol and The Xd's didn't do it for me.

Then again I don't train with my 1911's so I don't see a problem.shit I don't even shoot them let alone carry them.
