i was thinking about buying another set of mounts and some jb weld, but i'm still pretty fucking paranoid about this now. My other option is to call this dude that welds his own frames (look up stout bikes in houston) and have him weld me some mounts.

I've never had a problem with these brakes before. I emailed Joe already, hopefully once the barcodes come out I can get one with welded mounts. I'm riding front brake only for now, if i get a barcode i'm just going to give this frame to whoever needs it i guess.

my brakes came off i lost one of the brake mounts too, fuck removable mounts. i'm having a local frame builder here weld some mounts on the seatstay this week.

went to austin last night with my friend Damon in his Corvette and rode pflugerville park, soooo much fun. Went to House park, saw it was crowded and said fuck it. Ate at ALC Steakhouse by House park (expensive but sooooo worth it) and ran into Bobby and his wife as we came in, and as we left ran into Tom and Tina from Empire. It was a swell saturday.

For 3 days my 4x4 bars have been soaking in both aircraft and regular stripper. I've been scraping at bits barely getting any off. but I just want this bastard to boil over now. I haven't spent this much time stripping a part since my 41 thermal cranks bitd. Fuck my ass.

sandblasting takes 5 minutes, or you can give the bars to me in exchange for moneys

put my old brake pads on my springfield brakes, those weird shaped ghost pads weren't cutting it. no room for error!

i got my t1 ruben frame back for less than what i sold it for, stoked. painted it black and once it dries put it back together with the thunderbolt cranks that have been sitting in my closet
