The Lounge / My plans are to move to the LA area in under two years.

I'm tired of WI and my job consists of working outside for practically my entire work day. -30 degree F temps can piss off. I'm able to transfer over to California in a years time and am just curious as to where I should look to live.

My brother is moving to LA and I'd love to be close to him if I'm packing my bags and venturing across the country. I'm single and shit so I don't have to worry about a family or kids. It's always been a dream of mine really to get out to the west coast and start my own thing out there. So any SoCal guys have any insight on cities/areas to look for? I'm currently paying $675 for rent in a 400 sq. ft. studio apartment + electricity and internet. Although my car will be paid off next summer so there's an extra $500 a month to play with, although it'd be nice not to spend all of that $500.

I looked online at some studio apartments in LA and they're close to what I'm payin now, although they are about half the size. Outside of LA is cool but just close to the coast and that part of the state is what I'm after. Let me know!

I remember a dude on here sharing a song his band made and I've had it in rotation for years. Only just now bothered to check the rest of their songs out. I love this album! It's a shame they don't seem to be making music anymore. Really solid listen.

That's dope. So you reckon you could swap the bottom pieces out once they wore? That'd be a cool feature granted the rest of the shoe doesn't smell like dog shit at that point.

Is that a universal thing or just me? I don't normally have smelly feet but after like 2 years of wear and tear my shoes smell like straight up dog shit, no matter how much I clean them. If I wear a newer pair of shoes all day, no smellz. Old pair of shoes, dog shit. HALP.

Don't even file. Fuck the 5-0.

But for real, look up the requirements on when you need to file. If you made under a certain amount you don't have to file in that state. I don't know how much you made in those three months but usually it's like if you made under like $15,000 you don't have to file. It varies from state to state so don't hold that near and dear.

Never reallly had an issue with PayPal.

I've sold shit online for about 10 years now and have only had one buy claim the item wasn't as described. They got their refund as soon as they shipped the item back to me.
