I know nothing about vests.

I need a tan/coyote vest with plate holders.  I plan to have molle ar mag holders, glock mag holders, someplace to put shotgun rounds, a sling attachment and a glock holster.

What do I get?

blackhawk serpa holster for the glock, and with vests it depends on what you want to spend can go the cheap route and grab a condor or more expensive and go with one of blackhawks or tactical tailor.

waiting for my ATI top folding stock to come in for my maverick 88......also ordered the Do-all self sealing reactive cube target so ill see how that works out. Got a trap and 130 clays for my bday so ill spend the weekend trying to improve my aerial shotgun target skills

clays are fun as fuck i got a few boxes i should go out one day soon.

Those of you who are also nerdy to other gear besides guns..

Starting to look into getting a PC together with some gear on it.
Dump pouch, medic  pouch, admin wallet , and you know the typical mag pouches..

SKDTAC PIG PC..

i have a rifle rig and a shotgun rig set up actually.

yes it is but up here there restricted and in some cases can be registered as a pistol with a different lower on it and there for can run a 10 round magazine.

Why is it restricted? It's a 22LR.

dont matter the caliber here, if it isnt a shotgun or a rifle its restricted, and max 5 rounds too.

I want to trade my SKS in for a 10/22 for grouse hunting this fall eventually. Never shoot the thing anymore, but I will be checking out the store some time soon, thanks. Is Westley Surplus the place your talking about?

nope the mil shop on front street, and as for grouse dont go with a .22 get a .410, dont get rid of the sks either cheap rounds and fun shooting i got 3 sks's.

Up here you can get 1120 round crates of 7.62x39mm for $200 of the corrosive czech mill surp. I haven't come across any cheap non-corrosive ammo for it yet, and hunting rounds are about $22/20 rounds. Sks's just plain look cool, just a big knife with a gun attached to it.

there a mil shop in new west that sells non corrosive for pretty cheap.

I get the feeling that Magpul is the Odyssey of the AR world. Great products, tons of R&D but people still seem to hate on them and call people "fan boys". Is it just me or is that really how it is?

All of his clips are $30 flat + $4 shipping. Considering its a titanium plate and the JYDII has such wide screw location it is a fairly large plate, all hand made in low quantity I can justify it. I appreciate what he does and what goes into each clip. Seems like a solid guy and I'm into supporting that. I see what you're saying though about it being nearly the same as the knife.

just picked up a jyd2 i will be picking one of those clips up as soon as possible the stock one is fucking huge.
