There's a rumor going around that if the Chrysler/Fiat deal ever happens, Jeep will get a version of the panda.

At least it would be better than that compass BS.

Sort of, but not quite. It's some Buick, but when he got it painted and some body work he made it look as close to a Grand National as he could.

Buick Regal.  Same car, no turbo, different trim.

The best looking P1 car since the GT1! I have changed teams this year, I was an audi guy but now I am all about acura. The small 4L NA engine vs the 5.5L twin turbo diesels should be a David vs Goliath battle this year.

The new R15's look pretty sweet though.  The wide nose is a pretty big change from the other P1 cars.

I agree, it looks like a batmobile, and that's a bad thing.

Every time i think about it, it gets more and more fucking ridiculous. Why the fuck doesn't the country that designed and produced the car (excluding the engine, however Tom Walkinshaws company did the blower setup) get the best models. Fuck it, Australian Automotive died with the introduction of Chevrolet badges on Commodores and Fords refusal to make a decent V8 after the 351.

While I agree it doesn't exactly seem fair, you have to remember that Holden is owned by GM.  They are notorious for making dumb decisions.  Why they too so long to bring the Astra over here still boggles my mind.  Even after we get our version of it, it's not near as good as the European one.  Why NA gets the shaft on good cars has never made sense to me.  I'm sick of boring, slow, uninspiring cars.  We should have got the real STi's long ago, as well as the Civic Type R, Astra OPC/VXR, and the real EVO.  We get all the watered down versions.

the commodore(and variations) are the only real holdens the rest are opels (astra, vectra etc)

True, but what I meant is that they should share the lineup.  They've had two already (GTO and G8).   Take the Astra away from Saturn since it doesn't sell (and because Saturn might get the axe), and use it to replace the G5.  Pontiac needs to go back to it's performance car roots.  No more low level rebadged Cobalts and Aveos.

While that is a huge improvement over the current Taurus, the rear end of that design is just horrid.

On another note, they are bringing the SHO back.

Don't forget the other versions of the Commodore.

Vauxhaul VXR8

Pontiac G8 GXP

GTO

Chevrolet Lumina SS

At one point there was even the Toyota Lexcen.

GM should get rid of the existing Pontiac lineup and replace them all with Holdens.

I could be wrong, but I think I heard that the new NSX has been scrapped.

too bad a japanese car won't blow up like that would.

It's a Cadillac, with an LS9, it's not going to blow up.

While I do like the Altezza, I have just one picture in response:
