How have your chains failed? plates breaking? pins not holding the links together?

I've only had this one chain break, which is why I'm so uneasy now. It's never happened before. My plates broke on the link that was connected to my half-link.

I bought a 710 from my LBS because it was %20 off, so I'll see how this one does me. That Wippermann looks badass though, their chain testing videos are sweet.

... how long did it take to commit to a full balls out pedal?

I broke a 410H about 2 months ago, didn't real go OTB too badly but I can't help but feel a little nervous to actually lean into a full tits pedal. I find myself kinda leaning backwards while cranking at things, feels awkward. It doesn't help that my chainline is a little funky and makes odd noises with each crank around.

Am I just a wimp?

That True Identity band is good.

Got the new Title Fight album and it's different, which is what I expected, but it's good!
Also got 'You Destroy Yourself' by Sweet Jesus, Pat Flynn from Have Hearts newer band. Really friggin good.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes album Blossom is pretty awesome. If you liked the first Gallows album you'll probably love it.

What's up with Gallows after that first record? It ruled, and the stuff after just wasn't very good at all.

The point has been lost somewhere back there.

I've always liked Edwin, he rides really cool and that's what I liked. I saw that interview and it made me really dislike him. I'm sure he can still ride, but character wise I'm not a fan. Talking about fights and drinking and smoking is just kinda lame to me. I'm sure TCU pushed for those stories and clearly didn't care about smoking during the interview, which is also really lame. You're grown men, loads of kids look up to those guys; you couldn't have an interview without your vices? Especially for one of the biggest bmx content outlets? It's stupid.

They talked about Mirra and how he would party and what not but you wouldn't hear of that otherwise. He didn't brag about it and he also grew up, that's why he's still ballin' and Ed isn't. I'll still watch him ride, but I won't directly support his nonsense.

But that's just me

You got a killer deal on that f&f. I was close to buying it just because of the price, but I decided against it.

I know dude, I was pretty surprised it was still there because I let it sit for a while. Totally lucky. Just gotta get this setup to look pretty now, the other parts are sticking out haha.

I got some new cheap bearings to fix my wobble a couple weeks back and it sorted it out.

Buy those ones. The pair is cheaper than the cost to ship them.

band of horses-esque soundtrack

-repeat somewhat cryptic/dark lyrics, pause, group singing of ohhhhs accompanied by banjo-
rinse, wash, repeat

Not exactly BoH but close. Maybe more Mumford and Sons?

How does it help a living legend out and what with? Hopefully I don't sound like a jerk, just wondering?
