For 3 days my 4x4 bars have been soaking in both aircraft and regular stripper. I've been scraping at bits barely getting any off. but I just want this bastard to boil over now. I haven't spent this much time stripping a part since my 41 thermal cranks bitd. Fuck my ass.

Everything but my grips headset pedals chain tires rims seat and Swiss spokes is American made.

Going to be nice having more than a 1/16" in sprocket clearance and now have a great chain alignment.
Chase hawk grips now.  I seem to not be able to find my favorite grip. So ill try these out.

Happened to be by the far away LBS. picked up a slic cable,trigger lever, gland III, and pink animal seat post clamp. The ltf is getting fronts

Made a tire high rail over the weekend. Stopped raining..so after work I went straight to crank arm slides.  Never done them with chromoly arms and holy shit. Not gonna need wax. Almost went straight to the hole!!!  alteast it's something to ride.

The ltf as now.

More goodies that came in Thursday. The hub is a 48h lhd homer 9/16". Gotta find a freewheel that'll work and will be laced to the balance rim.

Put a extremely cheap front wheel on the ltf last night. Never thought I'd own a alienation rim. But it spins better than the vandero2. Might throw a pic up after work.

Flipped my front tire so my less used hub guard could take the brunt of my abuse for a while, tapped my seat back down and put a sweet 25t ti imperial on to make my ratio feel better due tot he lost leverage with the 165mm cranks. Those ti imperials aren't 15/16 bore, but luckily my friend has some power tools and a lot of patience.
