What options are for lightweight non disc all black road rims? I've got a Wiggle discount code that ends at midnight so could pick up some Archetypes but wouldn't mind something slightly lighter if possible.

Archetypes are mint. Well light enough too.

Less than 100 miles on it. Blowout and rode on the rim until I slowed down, cotton tires can't handle a few feet of riding flat I guess. Got some GP4000 IIs on now.

Not the most fun thing to happen to me while riding down a mountain.

I think the biggest thing is, is that when I drink and go out, I'm not nearly as anxious or shy/boring. Not saying I'm a complete nut job or cringe factory when I'm sober, just way more relaxed and introverted. Liquid courage has really helped me in many ways and I think in some ways I almost feel as I have to continue to be that guy to the people I've met and became friends with while under the influence.

This is the most real thing I've ever read. I drink most days, sometimes a lot, sometimes not. I've had periods over the past few years of not drinking for  around 4 months at a time and I just don't see my friends that much during that time. A few years ago I wanted to quit drinking totally, I'm now realising that moderation is so much better, but quite hard.

Sidewalls on GLHs are so thick you can almost ride them with no air.

If someone knows of a good tubeless set up tutorial I willing to try it and report back provided it costs no or little money. I have and old hazard lite wheel and old GLH I can use.

Gorilla tape your rim instead of rimtape. Cut a 16" tube down the centre, around the top and stretch it onto your rim. Put your tire on between the flaps of tubes with a bit of sealant. Pump it up, cut off the excess tube hanging out.
That seems like a lot of work for not a lot of payoff. Is the advantage just less weight?

It's usually heavier doing it this way. You've got added tape, tube and tire sealant. Benefits are that you can't get a pinch flat. Pretty much useless for BMX, great for MTB.

At least I stayed on topic. You're just highlighting how much you want to suck me off. Again.

You'd have to be pretty blind to put a BMX chain and a geared chain together.

I'd be surprised if most BMX companies didn't just weld on random length rear ends making this totally useless.
