EDIT: Except for the lights on the last two M14's... CQB with a 12lb rifle?  I think not.  LOL

Yeah... Not quite sure what you're on about here...

Looking at getting the Norinco M4 clone. Cheapest M4 variant to be had in Canada, but with that, I'm worried about the build quality. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't mind trying one out. I found 20's to be too small for me, and 24/26 is just too slow to ride park/street effectively.

Really wish firearms laws weren't so strict here in Canada. Would love to have an AR15 platform to go to the ranges with to improve my shot with the C7.

Hey guys, just wondering if you guys would recommend a sling. Something like this, but cheaper would be amazing. http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Dieter-CQD-Sling-wSling-cover-2-PT,154,1342.htm

Edit: Guess I should say that this will be used in the field with the military. I don't need to go crazy on a sling, I'm with the artillery. Just need something to hold onto my rifle while I'm using my hands.

The C7 is a pretty decent rifle, for sure a killing machine, but it feels kinda like it wants to tip to the front all the time.

I get to shoot 1300 rounds of 5.56 this weekend. So stoked. Only going to be shooting at 100 meters though. Ah well, hopefully we're allowed to rip on full auto for some of it. Shooting this:

I can appreciate a lot of these guns from an engineering perspective, think id feel a little cheated if i got one of these plastic glocks etc though? I can see the practicalities of the lower weight and cost and all that, but surely half the pleasure of owning a gun (the other half being killing shit and posing in front a mirror) is in the tactile feel and action of it, right?

C7 assault rifle has plastic parts on it.

I get to shoot it a few times a month

Any update on this? I really liked reading them. But, I suppose no big issues have come up.

Hammer some nails through the end if you want to increase the stopping power.

There is the perfect solution.
