Corrosion technician. Work for one of the smaller companies in North America, but we're years ahead in terms of knowledge and technology.

We do cathodic protection systems design, install, maintenance, testing, prototyping and research.

Getting this job has opened my eyes as to what I want to do career wise. Going to bank up a nice chunk of change and go to university to get a bachelors of engineering in either mechanical or chemical engineering.

I can definitely see this happening, but I wouldn't be too stoked on it. I enjoy driving quite a bit, excluding of course the stop and go when I'm commuting to the office (108 km drive). Although one of the guys on my crew is totally ready for this to happen. But then, he's the kind of guy who doesn't do any maintenance on vehicles he's owned, never swapped from summer tires to winters, etc.

When you make six figures you get no sympathy.

I don't make six figures. with my pay cut reversed I'm at $65,000 again.

Are you salaried? If you're not making overtime, 50k would have been a hard fucking wage to live on.

I wonder if you could do the stance kid steez with one of those wide fucking stranger rims and a 1.85 tire?

This made me laugh out loud. Would this even work?

We fired two people at my job and got my $15000 pay cut reversed. Yay!

My woman started working again, since I pay 95% of the bills all her paychecks can go into savings so we can buy a house next year.

Sweet. I just got a 6.24% pay raise. Not too bad for a year on the job. But my yearly bonus was only  $500

Mine is 200 cash but we do get a baller Christmas party

Haha, guess my bonus isn't too bad then. Although I get taxed on the 500!

I did a bit of research today at work, doing some price comparisons and such. The difference in price between the Ecoboost and the GT is about 7k. With a simple OTS tune, done by Cobb for $500 bucks, you're making 277hp and 371tq. With some additional tweaks to actually customize the tune to your car, it only goes up. Plus, a company called MAP performance (or MAP motorsports, can't remember) makes a turbo kit for under 4k that includes everything you need to do a full upgrade of the entire turbo system, you're going to be eating GT's for breakfast. The amount of aftermarket support out there for the Ecoboost already is making it hard for me, and probably a lot of other people out there to pony up (lol) the extra cash for the GT

Could high altitude training be considered doping? I was watching a doping documentary the other day and they mention testing blood cell count in it. Just curious. Sorry if its a dumb question, just curious.

Blood cell doping is a thing. You can get blood transfusions to up your red blood cell count.

Wasn't the name TAH just hat backwards and they used it to get curious minds in a twist?
