Same thing I do with the yogurt I never open and let expire in my fridge. You could dump it on some rocks, the larger the better, and have them grow moss from the acidity and enzymes of the yogurt.

I coulda swore you was a nerd

I'd probably just toss it

Dick, I'm pretty sure I'm selling off my coils this winter and getting bags. Being low is cool, but static just makes life so difficult.

Took my journeyman exam today. Have very mixed feelings about it. It's a very broad field (brand new trade, and it's only a trade in Alberta) so it's a TON of knowledge to know, but you generally only do one specific sub job in the broader spectrum of the trade...

Talking to my coworkers who have also written the exam, they also felt like they did terribly, but all ended up passing so that gives me hope.

Nick, I've heard the STi sucks for daily driving because boost doesn't come in until higher RPMs, whereas the WRX it comes on around 2000 RPM? I don't know for sure, just what I read in a comparison between a 2014 WRX (or whatever the first year with the FA20DIT was) and a 2015 STi

I get bad Sinuses occasionally, a good sauna session and drinking lots of water helps temporarily if that's any use.

Keeping hydrated definitely helped, closest I got to a sauna was turning the shower on as hot as it would go and chilling in the bathroom for a bit.

Hate living in oilfield camps. Miss out on so many amenities. Although the food is very, very good so I guess it evens out

Guess there's no happy medium for a summer. I've been living 2 summers. Out west in Alberta has been very mild, even had 2 blizzards in the past month. Back home in Ontario, it's been stupid hot with stupid humidity. Although, since I work outside, I'll take the 10-20* days.

4 door skylines are the coolest, but if I was to get one, the only way I'd do it is if we're a GTR. Way too much of a pain in the dick to get a RHD drive car insured in Ontario now for it to truly be worth it, and if I'm getting charged 10-15k per year on insurance, it better be awesome.

I need a new phone soon too and am looking for reputable places to buy unlocked UK phones too if anyone has any suggestions?

:)
G.

£220 + a few quid for postage. 3gb ram, 64gb storage, no SD card, 4g and runs without all the usual bloat bullshit.

I can attest that this is an absolutely great phone. I have one (although it's currently in a drawer, lack of a waterproof case makes it a no go for field work) and I'm running Paranoid Android on it and couldn't be happier.

Was a big step up from the Nexus 5 I had before that, although the 5.5" screen takes some getting used to,

Wait, so you want to support a grown ass man who is struggling because he rides kids bikes? What the fuck?

You should spend some time volunteering at a food bank or some shit.

He's a Targaryen. Fuck the North, King of Westeros time bitches.

Iron Throne won't even be around by the end of the series and no one will belive John is Rhaegars kid. Shit, John probably won't even know.

I'm gonna shut up now, before cool guys beat me up.

I feel like westeros is going to be a burning pile of rubble by the end of the book.

Jon Snow is going to be revived by Mellisandre, ala Beric Dondarrion. Then, he'll be relieved of his oath to the Night's Watch and rise as Warden of the North.

Is it standard to sign a contract to work at a bike shop over there? I suppose the difference in shops is significant, still seems like a bit much for a bike shop.

Could be for temporary work. I know that some places here will hire someone on with a contract, that way the company can say "you're employed for this length of time, you get no benefits, we can fire you at any time, you will only make this much, etc."

That way, the company can hire you for as long as they need and once that contract is up, they don't need to pay you 2 weeks wage, or severance or whatever.
