The Bonedeth version, "torture testing":

There's some clips in there from Milton Keynes which are literally fucking ridiculous. I trust bonedeth.

The Lounge / Re: "NIGEL SYLVESTER ON ADVANCING BMX WITHOUT FITTING IN"
« on: January 09, 2015, 12:51:38 PM »
This thread is full of shit haha. BMX will never fit into any uniform agenda, there will never be the "ideal" knight in shining armour professional that all you moany fuckers are waiting for, and every single person has their own individual goals, whether it be making money, fucking bitches, getting on the next cover of RideBMX or getting covered in mud on their own down at the trails.

There's every kind of person imaginable in our sport, good ones, bad ones, fashionable ones, dirty ones, business-minded ones, selfish ones, money-grabbing ones and just fucking idiots.

I think we should celebrate we're all still riding 20" bikes and as far as I am aware, that in itself is more than productive enough for me.

Who gives a fuck if Nigel is making $$$$, and really who the fuck cares whether he's wearing fashionable clothes and talking to Mr. Cunt business manager to try and source some more finances...you'd all be doing the same thing if you could and let's not forget, for all of Nigels "faults", I bet he still knows where he came from, and still pays homage to his roots.

We're fucking adults riding kids bikes....lets be happy we're still all doing that, and that we're blessed enough SOME companies give a shit enough that our bikes are lasting longer, getting lighter and coming in more options than we can handle.

BMX, fuck yeah.

EDIT - STEVEN MURRAY IS STILL ALIVE, FUCK YEAH.

SB's without any doubt. I switched to them as soon as those old Loteks got changed to the shitty sole and that bright silver colourway was introduced...fuck that.

Sorry guys, ruining your mtb conversation here,

Bonedeth Bomber Bars. Anybody ridden them? I'm looking at the 8.5's in particular.

How'd they feel?

Is that Vinnie you got off ebay brand new? or used? still a great pick up.

I got it used, but I think the frame is a bit of Bikeguide history in itself. I know Tony Harrison had it, and i've seen MEAT mention its been quite a way around the UK and changed a lot of hands.

In order from what I can remember, i'm sure there's a few more though...

COMPLETES:
Diamondback Ignitor (Used to race this badboy while kids were kitted out with profile n shit, I bought a pair of Fishbone pedals for it once, but apart from that I just used to smash the race circuit with it regardless of it being a shit, shit bike. haaaaaa!!!)

Huffy MJ12 (fuckin' tank like Liam said.)

GT Bump (first bike I actually started buying parts for, back when grips were meant to sit underneath the bend and smaller bars were key.)

WTP Addict (Frame is still going today as far as I know, basically the poor mans 4seasons.)

S&M LTF in 20.875 (Cracked the fuck outta the headtube, never got warranty on it. Size felt so good though,  20.875 was a boss size to have.)

Fly Pantera 2 (rode it for a day, rode like shit, sold it.)

Metal Rebel Contender (Lightning bolt dropouts don't like icepicks.)

Federal 1066 (LOVED this frame, especially in the purple colour it came in. Wish I never sold it.)

WTP Ovoid (SUCH a sweet frame, wish I never got rid.)

Sunday OG (still running to THIS day. It's about 10th hand and I've tried everything I can to break it, and now it's going into retirement to become an art piece.)

Sunday Vinnie Sammon (Just bought off ebay and waiting for the courier, quite excited to be honest. Been waiting to get hold of this frame for a long time!!!)
