Got my girl flying again. She still needs some love but hasn't left me stranded... yet! Took her on a 100 mile cruise the other week just to get out. Seaweed and Gravel was one of my stops. Place is pretty meh, but they have some cool bikes.

That's what I was figuring. For what it's worth I'd be annoyed as well.Most places don't charge the card until the order is ready to be fulfilled. Have no idea whether that occurred in this situation but you can be sure as shit I'd be annoyed with bankrolling someone's business until they get around to producing it on a retail product.i didn't order anything custom, just a headset cap right off the site, and was charged immediately. I just wanted some communication. I'll wait for some quality American parts.
Putting down a deposit on custom or one-off work is whole different thing.
I'm in the same boat on the mortgage being cheaper than rent (not including property tax or homeowner's which I also impound) but I sure as shit didn't only have to put $5700 down! As for affording I used an FHA loan, Kind of a pain in the dick but I only needed to put like $5700 down on a 30 year fixed. Hell my mortgage is cheaper than what I paid for in rent.
