i built both these wheels really nice-ly

48 ratchet, dB sapim spokes, ribcage
 (stronger rim but I believe strength is in the spokes)
took a lil over a year to break a spoke, then about two years in I had broken about 4 of them. only had to tru the wheel once in the first year and some months.
took over two years for the wheel to get noticeable lumps and wobbles

36h antigram, dB sapim spokes, birdcage
broke my first spoke in about 9 months and in a lil over a year I've gone through 4more
ive trued this wheel about 3times since I got it a lil over year ago and it is now starting to get noticeable lps and wobbles

Im going just as big of not bigger than I used to go on the old wheel but I'm also much much smoother with my riding since I have arthritis in my elbow now

idk, just thinking I wish antigram came in 48h

any idea where I can find elevation maps of different cities? Guadalupe, Zacatecas, MX to be exact

 it would be cool to take a bus to the highest point in the city and slowly cruise downhill seeing the city. my kneecap joint tissue is done so uphill is no bueno

so I always figured the more you excersize your muscles the stronger and more durable they become, but these days I seem to be able to manual less and less as time passes. I really love Manuel lines and if I spend all day doing them I end up tearing my forearm muscle tissue either slightly or severely and can't ride for days. whats up with that? amn i getting old? I always said "I ain't giving up bmx till the day I can't Manuel anymore"

is the roadsalt still stuck to my undercarraige eating away at it for the next year or so, or am i fine?
Do I NEED to powerwash it still, at this point?

I want to go a week or two early to ride and get to know the area but my mom saysi will get robbed and murdered because I look like I have money (lol)
I am white boy as fuck, compared to all my other Mexican friends, I must say

but yeah. is it really that bad? many people say yeah, few say no. and I've heard a horror story or two. I hear there's a big bmx scene down there. info?

seems like a place where if your not 100% on your toes, you WILL  get got. good opportunity to sober up on the booze, hmm

The Lounge / computer insanely slow

my computer wasnt insanely slow when i left home four months ago. i was able to use it.
now i go most any site other than craigslist and here and it slows to a freeze. like if i hover the mouse over a button, i cant even click it. pages take minutes to load. it is ridiculous.

i opened up task manager and both firefox and chrome will use 100% of the resources.
i wont have a bunch of tabs open like i used to
i dont have a bunch of mods or extensions

iirc i may have downloaded norton antivirus right before i took off. could that be it?

Lots of great parks, no time to ride,
Well stllsome time to ride. Anyone familiar with the area wanna give me heads up? I already know Jacksonville, Ashland and Medford parks are awesome. Is Medford really that antibike??? If I show up with my buddy skateboard Jeff and a 12pack,  I should be alright, ya?

Lines for days at these parks.

The Bike Shop / carving bowls with low psi in the tire?

anyone feel like their wheel is about to collapse if they carve a bowl hard with low psi? like 65psi or so? and then maybe dont get that sensation if the tires are pumped up higher... or is that just me?
feels like my wheel is about to taco sometimes if i hit a bowl corner hard enough
