sort of on topic, picked up one of these bad boys and got it in the mail today. i'm sure i will use the shit out of it, and now i have a handy little knife all the time. i'll probably end up using the screwdrivers and bottle openers more than anything considering i have a knife on me 99% of the time unless i'm in a suit or something.

hey guise, I don't know a lot about knives, but I once had a nice Spyder pocket knife and lost it. i have a $20 gift card from REI and I was hoping to spend $20-30 on a new one. I just need something that clips in my pocket and can be used for everyday stuff like opening packages and slicing fruit. any suggestions?

Dajo Ascent

Gerber Evo Jr Serrated

Columbia River Pazoda (with awesome spork thing!)
Gerber Remix
etc

so REI has a lot of knives under $30. what's going to be most useful for me?

i've had 2 evo juniors and get the serrated blade version. great knife very solid, but not exactly a speedy draw knife but great for everything, not bulky, and pretty good price. the clip is a bitch to get on your pocket if its not broken in, but that means its tight and wont fall off i guess.

daily carry: missing a screw toward the blunt end and before i knew what i was doing i stripped the bolts that hold on the clip. soooo i cant tighten it and its real loose but its a great knife size wise.

got this one for christmas from the old lady, havent used it much. anything over 3 inch blade is a little excessive and bulky for my daily carry

i use my knife all the time for shit. especially at work, opening shit, cutting foot, acquiring things, etc.

we have them at my store, they arent serial numbered, so you can probably buy them anywhere online straight shipped to your house

am i using the correct terminology? i have googled for an hour to no avail. any chance you could tell me what they run at your place of work?

can anyone point me in the direction of buying a frame assembly for my sig p250? i would like to get a second one so i can have 2 pistols put together and not have to worry about taking them apart to do so.

assuming they are available for purchase? i am having zero luck

EUGHHH I cannot stand those triggers.  I would shoot a foot right, they are so long.

I love P220's and P226's but I think sig kicked themselves in the ass with this gun.  Let us know how it shoots.  Im sure its reliable but that trigger just kills it for me.

SOMEONE BUY MY FUCKING AR15.  $1000.

there's a shorter trigger you can put on isn't there?

and i will let you know. since im at school i can't shoot it till probably this weekend.... im so itchy to shoot it haha

anyone have any suggestions for a pistol?
I'm thinking a .40 or 9mm, debating on whether or not getting a gun small enough to conceal/debating how much I want to spend on ammo.
I was really looking into s&w .40 cal, saw they were in the mid 400 dollar range.
anything else i should research? i have been reading everything about every make of pistol I see, are there any to stay away from? any cheaper makes that are worth checking out?
I have a lot of friends with lots of gun knowledge, but I figured I would see what you guys might suggest.
