Still waiting, too. They gave me a tracking number for the Russian post and from the Chrome translation, it looks like it crossed the Russian border three weeks ago. Hoping to see it soon. BRZRHD has been good with responding to my emails and everything, just been waiting for a while now.

I had that problem once with my Springfields and the clear pads. Turns out I had the pads upside down since they toe in the opposite way of conventional pads.

Not sure those 14mm Primo female front hubs are needed. Have read many times before that the modern day 3/8" female axle of today is much stronger than the 14mm male axle of yesteryear. Are people bending 3/8" female rear axles even?

I ridden chrome Hazard Lites and chrome 7KAs with a brake for considerable amount of time. No issues with peeling whatsoever. Not to be too much of a fan boy, but the modern day hard anodized black rims have held up and lock up great with brake use for over a year so far. Except the dings from me, finish looks great. Feel like I'm done with chrome rims unless I want em solely for looks one day.

Best brakes I've found for these wide frames/tires are the Odyssey Springfields with the clear pads. Better than the Demolition sealed bearings, better than the Evos I used to love. It may sound crazy since they're priced at $18, but the proof is in the pudding. Super low profile and the most tire clearance.
I've been riding BMX for a hot minute now and been rocking a rear brake for nearly the entire time. Sole reason I even joined BG back in '03 was to figure out how to get my brakes as dialed as possible, and subsequently, became a brake nut.
I'm currently riding an FBM Steadfast, 2.35" tire, set of Springfields, clear pads, Odyssey Monolever, Tree 44" cable with a black Odyssey Aerospace rim. Brakes lock up with one finger for all of my fufs, feel fantastic, and are the easiest to setup.
ETA: forgot I have an Eclat hanger going between the Tree cable and Sprigfields, if that matters. Only reason I stopped using the Quik Slics was due to the CS brakes on the Steadfast not working correctly with em. Quik Slic cables rule for cheap if you have SS mounts.

Good to know, G. I'll def use the switch footed bunnyhop method, just wasn't aware until after they were off of the bike. Smacking the bolt with my rubber mallet worked and I checked the threads for damage (none, they look and thread perfect) but still made me uncomfortable.
Definitely made sure to use enough anti seize after I bought a new jar.
