do the profile spindle bolts fit the 22mm column cranks spindle?

No sorry, the column cranks use a much larger bolt.

Didn't sell at auction - relisted with $349 CAD buy it now. New link above.

We have a new 21.125" Fit Hartbreaker frame in Gloss Clear that came in to the shop with very slight cosmetic damage. (Peeled seat tube sticker, small scratches around BB shell).

We ended up getting a pretty good deal on it, and have posted it up on eBay to pass on the savings to someone. Auction starts at $349 Canadian (about $263 US).

Figured this would be of interest to BikeGuide, as it is a very classic frame, welded brakemounts, no seat clamp, trailsy geo.... Someone should hop on this deal:

Are the Blue6 Primo Compression bolts sold as a set or individually?

The Primo Bolts are sold as a pair. Shipping to most places in the US has been around $12 with a tracking #.

Yes, I run a shop, I am not affiliated with Blue 6. We just have a lot of random stock still kicking around.

I need flanges.

I'd like the soft compound long necks with flanges. I've never seen them for sale anywhere.

The ODI Stay Strong grips are the Soft Compound with Flanges. Also Duo's grips have flanges and are made with the ODI Soft Compound.

Probably be a few good mechanics in the UK thinking of emigrating to Canada now...

:)
G.

Besides the good BMX scene and good pay, ladies will also love your accents... haha.

By the way G if that Odyssey thing isn't working out for you we'd love to have you.  ;D

Holy shit, it's been like 5 months. Are you guys looking for the one dude in the universe that has memorized the torque specs for everything or what? In all seriousness though, it kind of blows my mind that you guys are looking for a F/T BMX mechanic, but it would take quite a bit to get me to leave my current job.

We're just looking for a good mechanic, with at least 2 years of actual bike shop experience. A lot of people apply, but very few have actual experience. We have staff that are very good at working on bikes, so it hasn't been a rush to fill the position - still we are looking for someone who wants to take on the mechanic's role full time.

We are still looking for the right person for this position.

If you are looking to be a major part of a small, BMX only shop with deep roots in the Canadian BMX industry, get in touch!

The Bike Shop / Re: FBM guard is chromo now?
« on: February 28, 2015, 11:16:30 AM »
Yep, they are nice. Good mid-level price point and a decent shape that should fit on pretty much any hub.

15
Nothing you said there made sense but I guarentee if you are qualified enough this is most likely the highest paying BMX mechanic job in Canada. Speaking from experience.

You're right. Our rate of pay and benefits are very competitive and we are looking for someone experienced.

If you're out there and interested in this position we are still looking for the right person.
