Paid for a Remington 870 Super Mag 12 gauge the other day. I get to pick it up a week from tomorrow. Stupid 10 day waiting period

Picked up some Premium slim PC sealed pedals yesterday. Already like 'em a lot better than Twisted PC's. The Premiums even came with a spare set of clear replacement bodies :)

My bro gave me an early X-mas gift and gave me Sunday Tall T bars. Biggest bars I've ever run and so far I like them a lot. I cut about 1/2" off 'em and they feel great.

New glock!

I shot a Glock .45 once and wasn't a fan of how it felt in my hand, felt kinda cheap but  for adding to your armory though :)

I recently bough a rock island armory 1911 in .45 and i have had no problems and have heard no other complaints about them. they are pretty cheap... especially for a 1911.

I've heard the same. I will own a 1911 someday

A lower is a lower.  80% of them are made in the same place, you're just paying for the rollmark.

That being said I've never heard bad things about Spike's lowers.

Spikes anything is very good for what they cost. Do it!

that is a spikes lower correct? i am considering one. how is yours holding up?

Holding up fine. I built the lower myself, having no gun-smithing experience before, and it's worked great.

After buying an 11" Troy TRX Extreme on Black Friday and disassembling my rifle, I found I have a 16" HBAR. After much deliberation, I decided to machine the barrel down myself to a mid-weight barrel. I'm satisfied with the results :) Modifications also include chopping off the front sight block.

I know I don't have a front sight yet but I ordered a Troy folding one and it'll be here on Wednesday, along with a QD sling mount for the new hand guard.

The only bad stuff I hear about Magpul is the die-hard military guys only want a bare bones ARs with only stuff the military uses. Since Magpul tends to use a lot of plastic, they get some flack from that group. The realist inside me says they are great products at reasonable prices for every level of shooter so that's why I use Magpul.

It can get VERY expensive. Not just guns but ammo too. The good thing is guns hold their value fairly well.

*Just realized you're the dude that had the lifted toyota.  I guess you do know about expensive hobbies.

Yeah, buying gun stuff while building my Tacoma and saving all at the same time. Toys are fun :)

My first: Rossi .38 special

Second: AR-15. Spikes Tactical stripped lower, RRA 2 stage NM trigger, Magpul MOE mil-spec stock, bullet button and 10/30 Pmag's to be CA legal :) Waiting on Rock River complete mid-length upper with a full float half quad rail and Troy folding rear battle sight.

Also looking into picking up a 1911 and a 10/22 rifle after the AR is done  I'm new to guns so this is only the beginning...like I need another expensive hobby :bustin:
