After realizing that 90% of the BMX videos I made for websites between 2006-2016 had disappeared from the internet due to companies collapsing, I decided to upload all 350+ edits I made in that time frame to a Youtube channel. I've been a little more removed from BMX trends for a while, and I recently saw that XL rims are a thing. Is this to make the comically oversized tires we already have even a tad wider? Is it needed to run low PSI and not get pinch flats as seems to be a trend these days? Any other advantage? Just curious. Thanks!

I assume the driver in the G-Coaster didnt work out.

The story I heard was that is was a combo of the design being very complicated (which raised concerns about servicing issues for inexperienced rider mechanics) and that it was also very expensive to make all those pieces just right.

I think there were other Blues in the mix on here, but incase this was about me... I'm a wedding videographer these days, and whatever other photo/video stuff I can scare up in between. I haven't been able tor ide for a few years due to plenty of problems with my body and a few with my mind. Not sure what about me was less grown up than the rest of us were 15 years ago but I'm a few concussions deeper so I may just not remember... that is, if I'm even the Blue you were asking about.

Pretty obvious it was bluemeate he was referring to

Had like a 8year hiatus from riding. Back on the bike.

Good to hear. Due to body problems and work I've been off for about 3 years. Fighting to get back on myself.
