Just a few of my favorites. Cutting my collection down a bit. Sold my other shotguns (Remington 870, Mossberg 500C) and I haven't really used my Walther P22 in a while. I'll always keep my Ruger 10/22 though, I'm just waiting on .22 to be available!

any one here have any experience with the Ruger sr9c? ive been looking at one for a new carry and haven't really heard any thing bad about it.

My friend has one and he seems to like it a lot. It reminded me a lot of my Walther when I was holding it. It's pretty small as far as 9mm pistols go.

Damn guys, I need to make it down to Socal and have some fun in the desert. Not sure about bringing my guns down there though... I'll have to look into the CA laws.

School is almost out for me and I'll finally have money again. I'm thinking that my next purchase will be an AK variant or maybe an FNX-45 tac. Decisions...

Don't EVER travel through California with firearms until you've read their laws. Overlooking something in their laws could lead to a felony charge in that stupid fucking state.
Please, please read all their laws and talk to people in California before you travel there with firearms.

If you ever feel like coming to Vegas, it's pretty much anything goes here in Nevada with firearms and I will take you out into the desert and we can blow shit up all day.

Great Sunday out at Ocotillo with the lady.
It was her first time shooting and before she did not like the idea of guns before.
Now she wants her own 9mm ha! Awesome 2 hour ride out there too.

Where's your hearing protection son?

My first thought too

Did you ever finish your..New Frontier lower? How is it holding up? I forgot who you were but
I know you're out there

Still can't find a decently priced upper or any .223 ammunition so that would be a negative.

I'm trying to find a decent .17hmr rifle with a wood stock under $400.
I'm thinking CZ, but there are some nice looking Marlin and Savage rifles with heavy barrels out there.
Any thoughts?

.223 will do just fine. Haters gonna hate. I'm not running .22lr through this.
Everyone was just as skeptical about material strength when aluminum receivers came out.

This guy wants $800 for this: http://lasvegas.backpage.com/SportsEquipForSale/900-complete-ar15-upper-bcg-and-charging-handle/9114847
Should I do it? That seems high to me.

New frontier armory lower...

I don't suggest running that on anything bigger than 9mm upper. 223/556 uppers have been known to break them. I've seen 2 personally cracked from 556 upper use.

They're rated very well for .223 and New Frontier has been pretty good about sending replacement lowers to customers who have had problems with cracking. I'd encourage you to go look up the "torture test" videos that NFA has on their website and on youtube. In a lot of cases they're actually holding up better than aluminum.

In any case, it's already been purchased so I'll let you know first-hand how it holds up if I can ever find ammunition, a magazine and an upper for it. :bustin:

polymer?.....

oh and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, it's polymer. They sell them here in Vegas for $80 stripped.
I got this for about $220 with shipping included. Seemed like a good deal since everyone has been buying 6 at a time and this is the first one I've found under $300
Completed receivers are back ordered up to six months from NFA. There's nothing wrong with the polymer lowers, I've heard great things about them from other shooters here.

Just won this in auction. It'll be my first AR-15, but I can't find an upper to save my life.
Thanks Obama.

Looking for reccomandations on a .45 handgun. This will be my first hand gun. Looking for something thats nice to shoot, is of good quality, not overly cumbersome. I have shot lots of rifes before but am new to handguns.

Any thoughts?

If it's your first handgun then don't get a .45. That's my thought!

9mm or .38 would be good. The only .45 platform I like is the 1911
