Sell and Swap / S&M CCR Dark Roast 21"
« on: September 01, 2017, 11:50:21 AM »
Does anyone have any interest on picking up this gently used CCR? It's a 21" frame that I bought a little over a year ago but I'm curious about trying a longer size. $210 shipped to your door in the lower 48. I took pictures of all the flaws so you know what you're getting.

I couldn't get the photos to upload so text me for pics if you're interested.  512 nine eight three 86 one 6

Sell and Swap / New odyssey thunderbolt kit
« on: April 26, 2016, 08:13:09 PM »
Hey dudes. I have some (essentially new) Odyssey Thunderbolts up for grabs. They come with a new odyssey bottom bracket and fang sprocket in 30t. All of these parts were ridden less than 4 days. The only blem on them is a tiny scratch on the right arm.  $150 shipped takes them.  If you buy all of these parts through a mail order shop they would cost more than $250.

My paypal is laloest@gmail.com if you wanna jump on them!

Sell and Swap / custom S&M trail frame
« on: February 01, 2016, 10:16:13 PM »
I picked up this frame from another member on here but i figured i'd unload it now to start a new project.  This one-off frame has a good story behind it.  Moeller himself called it a collectors item.

Original S&M team rider John Paul Rogers worked for Sparky's Distribution (Subrosa and Shadow Conspiracy) a few years back and used his connections at S&M to build a hybrid S&M/Subrosa frame.  He asked for them to use a supertherm tubeset and Subrosa chain adjuster drop-outs, gusset and wishbone.  The frame was originally trans gold but by the time i got it, the paint was in bad shape so i had it powdered army green.

The frame is pretty flawless except for slight wheel mount marks and that the previous owner but a small dent in the chain stay for sprocket clearance.  Thankfully, the new paint makes it hardly noticeable.  Clamp and bb are not included.

The angles are:
74 ht, 71 st, 13.75 cs, 9" soh, 21" tt, 11.75 BB

Considering the $100 powder coat job i just had done on it, i figure the $260 price is reasonable (shipped).

Here's a pic of her all built up.

And here are the current pics.

The Bike Shop / odyssey quik slic cable
« on: August 06, 2012, 10:52:42 AM »
has anyone tried using one of these.  I am unfortunate enough to have a frame that isn't quite compatable because the cable stop is welded too close to the seat mast.  The problem I'm having is that i had to use the knarp that's included to shorten the cable up.  the knarp fits into my odyssey brake lever, but I cant get it to go deep enough for the cable to twist into the barrel slot.

i know all of this is hard to put into words so i'll try to post pics up later.  i just thought i'd post this to see if anyone knew what i'm talking about..

here is a link from odyssey's website.  their example seems to be working fine.
