Alright guys long time since I've posted here! This is my mtb now, I thought I'd miss the Voltage but I don't really, it's nice having something I can actually ride up hills

edit - wow that's a really bad quality photo at full size haha.

You guys got any tips for freeing up sticky/partially seized road bike brakes (tiagra if that makes a difference)? My rear one doesn't return all the way when you pull it now which results in a flappy cable hitting the top tube and the pads rubbing which gets annoying. Take it all apart and soak it in wd40? Or should I just bin them and get something new?

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes album Blossom is pretty awesome. If you liked the first Gallows album you'll probably love it.

I got the latest Kendrick album after seeing him smash it at Reading and thought apart from a few standout tracks (King Kunta, Alright, i and a few others) it's pretty overrated from all the hype I've read about it online.

One size fits all PR/advertising/marketing account director at a large comms consultancy. Being 'creative', we have an entirely free bar in the office and all of the open plan, table tennis, hammock type of feel-good shit going on, which is alright.

My girlfriend is a surgeon in training and fuck me does it make me have days thinking 'what do I actually do' or visions of leaving the firm to go and chop trees down or build something, it is comical how different our respective 'bad day at work' stories are.

Don't suppose you guys have any jobs going for video or graphics guys do you? Sounds way more fun than where I work haha.

Video editor. It's alright! Don't think I could hack a normal office job now.

I had a BFe years ago and it was a bit of a lump tbh. Nice geometry for riding down hill and stuff but it was a bit uninspiring for everything else, too heavy and dead feeling.

Nice Bottlerocket! I've always liked the look of those and the raw looks awesome. Has anyone ridden a Stanton Slackline or NS Surge Evo? I did say I wouldn't go back to a hardtail but I'm tempted haha, just always feel well limited to DH only on my Voltage (which it is awesome at). One of those newer slack and long "hardcore hardtails" is probably the right bike for me if I can get over not having rear suspension.

Haha nice one MEAT. I'm thinking about doing the FOD mini enduro in October, are they fun? I'm sure I'll be well slow but just something I wanna try.

That was a great read Zoidberg. Being a bike courier sounds way too much like hard work for me though. I'd soon get sick of having to ride my bike for a living I reckon.

I've always done em pointing backwards, it's easier to undo than the other way into the frame.

oh balls. Not sure how or when this happened but I guess it's time for a new tyre. Are conti GP4000S still the best all rounders for the money? These have lasted me thousands of miles so I'm inclined to just get another set.
