My old fbm finally broke at the start of lock down, bought a T1 skapegoat and then rediscovered just how fucking sexy fly stuff is, so slowly bankrupting myself spending £30 on bar ends to match my sprocket, like a total cunt. Turning out to be a sick dad bike though, there are worse ways to have a midlife crisis.

Ps, will at a very minimum suck cock, for any Fly parts in fog titanium.

They don't like impacts, either structurally or magnetically. Other downside is that magnetic force falls off very quickly with distance, so in effect they're a non linear spring, in this case they'll have less force when engaged, than when the teeth are riding over each other. If it were worth doing to reduce rolling resistance, shimano or some other major manufacturer would have done it.

I know I'm basically talking to myself here, but on the off chance someone who rides BMX stumbles across this site one day, what's the opinion on the clutch?
Is it significantly better than the rest of the khe type coasters in terms of feel and engagement/mechanical reliability?

This Ezra freecoasting pawls shit all seems like witchcraft, I can't really find any opinions on it, so assume they suck?

is this caused by the missing pawl and spring?

Definitely, they're 3 pawl hubs right? There will be all sorts of horrible things going on in there, i'd guess the driver will be grinding on the ratchet ring.

Got myself a decent 26in jump bike after christmas, despite 20 something years of trying I've never been particularly comfortable on my bmx in the air, this is rad as hell though, can confidently huck it all over with little regard to landing with any finesse. Been riding the local indoor parks a few times a week recently, off to finale ligure in italy next week on the proper mtbs too, should be good.

Use a quality set of long handled allen keys, work up from 5mm.

If it flexes as much as they show it moving, i bet your wheels would be all over the place, rubbing chainstays, forks, etc? Seems a horrible idea when flex can so easily be engineered into a carbon frame?

Does look cool though...

If they're updated, they're probably 3mm wider to accomodate bikes with boost axle spacing, using a spacer behind the cup, rather than them having to change the design of the spider to push the chainring out the required amount?

Regular Columbo here.

Fox stuff has always fallen to bits for me, best shorts ive had were altura attacks, they're all black, pretty light weight, good fit and completely waterproof as a bonus too. I had them for about 2yrs as my only shorts and they actually stayed waterproof until i wore out the arse.

Hard to knock the twoi ree aliexpress knock offs if you're on a budget, they're probably same quality as the proper ones...
