Put a coat of stripper on it, did almost nothing....
put it back together, forgot a spacer in the cranks and developed an amazing chain line.

Rad!

its fucking with my springfield brakes. if my fly brakes work out i'm golden. probably end up buying a barcode wen they come out

Does it have the ghost pads on it?

I just can't imagine it being tweaked to mess up brakes with adjustable pads. You might have to get creative but it should still work.

Found out the back end of my Ruben frame is slightly twisted.  My friend gave me a mirra co black pearl frame but I'm too lazy to swap. Fuck it

Twisted back end isn't goint to hurt anything
It's a fucking Ruben frame man! Keep going on it.

I'd rather ride on a slightly twisted ruben then a black pearl any/every day.

It's labor intensive, but worth it.

Pics please.

I could swear I had a pic once the bars were raw and I had polished it all up a bit to make it more consistent, can't find it though!

Think I might do this again actually, well maybe....

Removed all the anodizing from the aluminum parts besides the wheels.
Gonna eventually strip everything so my bike looks like the terminator.

I did that to my road bike a ways back. Either chrome or raw on anything metal.

Fun project, turned out well too.

was 10 degrees this morning
decided not to ride it to work and drive.

That was at 6, it's now 12:20 and about 50 degrees.
Was going to switch to the bike after lunch, but I have to pay rent and go grocery shopping. It's supposed to be rainy through the weekend.

Shit.

They sell the headtube badge in most online shops. I put one on my LTF when they did the first batch before including it on frames.

I recovered my eccd seat last night with some vinyl and a staple gun. Harder than I thought it would be because of the thick material and some of the hard to get spots under the rails and at the nose.

Unstaple it and use a heat gun (or hair dryer) to get the vinyl nice and warm. Makes it a bit stretchy. Also if it's the mat backed vinyl you can peel that off to make it a bit easier as well. Once it cools it shrinks back a little.

ORRR take it to an upholstery shop, it's be like 10 bucks to recover and they have the special DEEP staple guns that can get in around the rails.

Seat I did in burlap a long time ago.
