bought a tire from him, good dude with a fair price and shipped fast while staying in contact.

thanks man

Daves a good dude. I agree'd to ship first and he notified me as soon as he got the tire and had the money in my pay pal almost instantly. Wouldnt hesitate to work with him again.

Congratulations and good luck man. The feeling of finding out, is one of the best things you'll ever feel. I still remember when my girlfriend told me she was pregnant. It was awesome.

My VR GTI

Finally put it back on the road yesterday. Got my wheels painted and some falken 912's. fresh wash and wax. Still rubbing on bumps though. I may need to roll the rears a bit more. Ah well, probably leave it for a while. Let me know what you think so far.

80 000 miles on the clock, pretty fresh find IMO

Mods are:
268 cams and matching giac chip
fully stainless Neuspeed cat back exhaust
H&R Ultra low coilovers
rolled fenders
Borbet type A's 16x7.5, 10 and 15mm spacers, falken 912's 205/40/16
polished intake
breezy modded air box
blacked emblems
Euro vr lip (drilled into bumper)
Shaved hatch spoiler

Damn you for having your car look almost exactly like what I am aiming for mine to look like, just in 4 door. Anyways, the car is really nice man.

Watch me laugh first time it needs an oil change or god forbid brakes. Dig deep, you'll need it. Don't forget to save some for the insane insurance (Vette's have some of the lowest for a sports car) and tickets because of all the fan boys wanting to race.

Oh, and forget mods. Hope you have a VERY thick wallet for that.

If you have the money to shell out for the car itself, than paying for it obviously shouldnt be a problem. People that pay for a Veyron dont say "Shit, I wonder how im going to pay 18 grand every year to replace the wheels and tires, plus the brakes, plus change my oil every 3000 miles"

so who wants to find me my next car?

requirements:

-sedan
-Japanese
-any drive train layout (awd/rwd/fwd)
-preferably older "boxy styling" but something i can get with lower mileage (under 125k)
-Option of going turbo on stock motor and ability to handle it (sr20de basically, but other types too)
-not mitsu

basically i want a galant vr4 but am not a fan of mitsubishi at all, bascally because of the talon/eclipse. i have also been looking at the infiniti g20t but its hard to find a 95-96 with under 150k miles even. car should be luxury or nice interior styling for its age and not a something you see everywhere (i wan the exact opposite of what i have now i think)

$6000 spending limit

I might have missed something, but dont you have a civic you recently got? Anyway, try finding a sentra se-r. Yeah, its sentra, but from what ive heard, the se-r's are really decent. Its hard to find what youre looking for, like sheep said.

Haven't been on here in awhile, surprised to see this thread.  There's a very similar thread in the car lounge on VWvortex.  My contributions...

RS's are played

Especially ones with ugly paint jobs.

I would post pictures, but I'm at school

I dont think its possible for RS's to be played out, if they look right and are on the right car. They're classics.
