Didn't know about the permit thing. That sucks!

depends were in canada you are, i have plenty of guns so do lots of others around prince george, its just hard to have handguns up here kinda wish the laws were a bit more slack though.

It's not too hard if you get your gun license, and one other easy to get license. My uncle just got his, and has 4 hand guns. A .50Cal, .44, a 9mm, and I think a .38. He has a fifth, if you count a .22 Cal handgun... Thing is tiny!

depends were in canada your from, back home most people i know own many guns and have no problems with them, now im staying down in van and it seems almost everyone is very uneducated on firearms and have a very anti gun attitude.

Travel a bit east to Surrey, and it'll change (at least with the people I know)! Haha

Haha, I don't have bunch of money to fill it! Soon though, soon. It was free though, and I needed a bag to carry around then what I had before.

Ogio hooked me up with a bag, well their Canadian distributor did (Rampion Enterprises LTD.), so I thought I would take a photo. Missing from the bag is my D60 with a Nikkor 35mm DX AF-S lens on it, which I used to shoot, my 18-55mm lens and my other AE-1.

Hey I live in Canada and im 19, what is it like to get a gun licence and how much money is it?

Do you have to go through a lot of bullshit to get it?  I have shot guns before when I was younger and think ill get one in the future (when I have money).

any thoughts?

No one quoted this, but it's not very hard. You just need to take a course before hand, which gives you all the info you need. Then after that, you get the test. They basically have all the answers on the walls on the posters as well... As long as you're not an idiot, it's damn easy. My uncle just got it, as did my aunt. My aunt of all people... If she can get it, you can. Though, speaking of the test, this one is for BC. I don't know what it is like in other provinces...

I want a pet too.  Ive never really been without until now, especially not growing up.  I want a dog but dont know if my schedule/living arrangements really allows it.

That would suck. I couldn't imagine not being with out a dog. Had once since I was 2. The longest break I had without a pet was like a month. Which was a horrible month, mainly because I missed my dog that had to get put down, but it was just so boring with out a dog to me.

One of my two dogs. He's a lab, and his name is Trooper. He's awesome, and hilarious. Every time he takes a shit, he comes inside and bolts around the house. We have no idea how old he is, but we think he is like 2 years old or a bit older as we rescued him from he local pound. He's a super vocal dog, especially when it comes to doorbells, including ones on TV, ha.

This is my other dog, whose name is Buddy. He is a German Shepherd who we also rescued from the pound. We figure he is around 6 years old. We have had him for around 4-5 years now after my first dog had to get put down. This dog is one of the most tame, and laid back dogs I've met. The sad thing about him is that he has a ear infection that will not go away, no matter what we try. The vets have no idea what is wrong either, and we've been to around 3-4 different ones and all the same thing. It saddens me. Dogs are awesome pets.
