Site Help and Rules / Site meter??

Use adblock plus, block everything from sitemeter.com and you'll never see it again.

edit: Looks like a phishing scam, as if someone hacked sitemeter and is stealing usernames and passwords.

Hub caps? Nope.

To his credit, they may just be wheels for winter. I do the same.

I had a Cavalier once. It was my first car and a piece of shit (due in part to yours truly).

It is funny to me that you bought a big dumb muffler for your Cavalier.

Quoted. MyCavalier was also a piece of shit, and I also find this hilarious.

anyway you'd actually be surprised at how it sounds, it's more like an evo/sti deep rumble rather than a high pitched lawnmower.

No, no it is not. I will not sound ANYTHING like an opposed 4-cylinder huffing through a turbo, or the everybody-knows-what-it-is-before-they-see-it 4G63 blat. It sounds like that shitty EcoTec 2.2, and that's one of the worst sounding 4-cylinders made nowadays.

i dont see you doing any buying or selling so you have no room to talk.

Oh i guess im not legit now even though i got over 10 refs on here.

I do quiet trades, mostly off-the-forum.

And I don't care how many refs you have, because you're an enormous douchebag. And I don't deal with feminine hygeine products.

Look under the sell/swap and the good buyers its on the last page.

I am slowly learning that most Ohio BG residents are not to be traded/dealt with.

i'm just saying that what some people want to accomplish is the ability to drop their cars, and with stretching the tires they are given more room to do so without rubbing.

Rolled inner fender lips, proper wheel offsets, proper tire size -- all ways to avoid rubbing with a drop.

Of course, it seems that after 5 threads (or so) of trying to argue this, people are still gonna do it. I just think it's unwise to spend money on something that's clearly a disadvantage in about every category.

Maybe I just don't have enough money to piss away on tires, and maybe I enjoy cars that handle and ride like they should.

that depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

Please, give me one logical advantage to running a stretched tire.

well i believe it started in Belgium (??i think) where there was and maybe still is a law, where the tread of a tire must be within the fender, so to fight the system, so to speak, this is what came of it. low offset rims were able to be used and it was still considered legal because the tread was not out from under the fender.

Most states have a law that permits only a certain amount of tread to protrude from a fender. Jeep and truck guys (and some fancypants bodywork car guys) figured out a long time ago that fender flares were a much better solution.

It looks retarded, but it is trendy. I guess. Not as much in Chicago, since there are potholes that would (gratefully) eat the wheel and tire alive.

nutzo, you can tell me what this is and how it works.
the way the tire is i mean.

It's a tire that is far too narrow for the rim it was put on. And it works very poorly. Lots of guys do it because, apparently, this is some kind of modern automotive fashion statement.

I still think it's ridiculous, and have yet to hear one competent argument confirming there is some kind of advantage to running skinny tires on wide rims.

Would definitely deal with human again. Quick transaction (trade), and I got the frame in a timely fashion, zero hassle. And he gave me delicious cookies and chex mix.

Sorry, those are the most popular rounds for self-defense.

Shooting anything besides rats or squirrels with a .22 is silly.  The .38 isn't a bad round though.

Actually, a well-placed .22 round can do a TON of internal damage. Lots of city medics/emts are well aware of this.

But, I know what you're saying, and that's why I keep the .40 within reach at home, and the .45 not much farther away.
