i took the whole front clip off the brown rabbit behind mine. thats just a bend in the lip from the previous owner you see, iv bent it back.

It's a tire that is far too narrow for the rim it was put on. And it works very poorly. Lots of guys do it because, apparently, this is some kind of modern automotive fashion statement.

I still think it's ridiculous, and have yet to hear one competent argument confirming there is some kind of advantage to running skinny tires on wide rims.

granted this post is a couple pages back im still going to reply. stretched tires are for drifting, plain and simple. the stretched tires make the car more nimble (sp?) which would make for a better drift car. FWD's that have stretched tires are for looks. thats about it. a couple sizes down will look good and be safe to drive on compared to the guys that run tires for doughnuts on 13x10's
