I have been on the Saiga forums for a while.

Will from Red Jacket is awesome (in real life.) He always had parties and invited the whole forum to come and shoot on his birthday, gave the address and everything.

Him and Tromix dude Tony basically made it possible for us to convert Saigas to awesome and crazy Ak-47s that they are today...that is unless you had a machine shop and made your own one off parts.

Sad to see the show kind of fall off and them hit hard times.  Money fucks with people.

Their guns aren't anything special really.  AK is AK is AK.

Krebs custom in Wauconda, IL is about 9 miles from my house and they build the best AK-47s ever.  He is one of the only builders in the USA to learn from Mikhail Kalashnikov himself in Russia.

Yeah it should be handled...funny thing about the magpul lowers is I believe they are just re branded POF lowers.

My co worker's (bmx pro who loves guns) Magpull lower broke last week.  LMT CQB16 piston upper on it.  The piston op rod bent this week and jammed, and the noveske lower he bought to put the LMT upper on is not to spec.

Bad week for his very expensive AR15.

I got a new lower and parts kit last week, still yet to build it!

Contemplating on another 16incher with adjustable stock or 18-20 inch with a2 style stock.  I really like the rock river extended operator stock.  Its basically the same dimensions as an operator carbine stock, with the nice sop-mod cheek rest, but the length of an a2 stock.

Spread depends on your choke.  Get an extra full turkey choke and shoot bird shot thru it.

Norinco still imports guns to Canada.  We don't import any "assault" weapons.

Also something about importing SVT40s after the war there were tons in Canada but now they cannot fit under our 922r regulations, but Mosins and the like can because they are bolt and not Semi auto.

A bunch of bullshit either way

Since I'm cheap as fuck, I'm looking at some Norinco stuff. Specifically, the 1911 and the M14. Opinions? Personal Experience?

Are you kidding me??

The norinco M14 has a forged receiver.  I regret selling mine more than any other gun I have sold.

I paid $750 for it, got a GI fiberglass stock and some national match parts (rear sight and op rod) then ended up selling it for $1900.

If I was in Canada I would own 10 Svt 40's and every Norinco gun imported.
