I got an sks that was dunked in cosmoline somewhere in Yugoslavia.  Its a 59 non issue I believe.  

I took it completely apart, turned on my grill to about 100 degrees and put all the wood on tin foil and grilled it in there for 4 hours.  The cosmoline melted out of the stock.  Then I sanded it and stained it, lacquered it, now it looks beautiful.

Would anyone like to purchase a Dan Wesson .44 mag, six inch ported barrel, stainless steel?

Hopefully I will get around to making an actual press this winter.  One that adds concave along with camber (right now my boards just have camber).

Anyone here own an Mosin Nagant (7.62x54mmR)?

You can buy them pretty dirt cheap, $100 or so. Looks like it would be fun to pick off targets from a good distance away.

Curtis, I own one and its a monster of a gun. Has an ass ton of kick, But the ammo is cheap as fuck. Will have to go shooting some day.

I always carry a gerber its bout 3" in length and is spring assisted. never fails when i need to macgyver something

To make the barrel flush with the slide, yes.

Ah yes that is a very good point, Couch.  If you went with a G22 you could always buy a conversion kit to make it 9mm.

9mm vs. .40 is a difference of one or two bullets. Im leaning towards the .40 and getting a 9mm barrel
