Been riding some Nike Ishod Wair Dunks (less padded than og dunks) for a couple of months now, which have been great. I really like the support and it looks like the thread on the sole is going to last a while too. Probably getting them again when these die, half a size bigger cause they were a little tight the first week or two.



Also got some adidas Suciu ADVs that need some more breaking in before I can ride in those. Best stock insole I've ever got, it's thick and squishy and has some kind of ridges on top that basically stick to your socks. I'm really hyped on the asymmetrical collar which is higher on the inside of your foot where your crank arm would hit.

My Clutch hub did the same thing at first, then I took it apart to grease it and removed the little grub screw (for slack adjustment) as I noticed it could potentially hit the inside of the shell if all the way out (I run max slack)

It's a V1 Cult DAK seat, its cover is starting to peel off because it's so old but I can't find anything that looks just as good and has some padding. Those new BSD mid seats look good, though.

The only stem cap that I ever end up cracking in half by just tightening it was made of 7075 Al. but I fuck with my bar angle a lot so that thing has definitely been through its cycles.
I ended up putting on an old 6061 Al. cap on which has easily seen more abuse, but that one only seems slightly bent/stretched.
I also noticed the bars slipping less often using the softer alloy stem cap.

A stronger 7075 body (to prevent breaking and pinching at the steerer tube) with a (perhaps replaceable) 6061 cap sounds like a good idea to me.

Hi guys,
Just letting you know that the Shadow SOD guard fits, apparently we had one laying around at the shop.
I'm pretty sure that's the smallest 3rd party guard you can fit on it (it literally has no 'play' once you fit it on the collar, if that makes any sense).

I contacted the warranty dept. and they said the (stock ODSY Clutch) revised hub guards would only be available by February, so I'm going to wait out on getting a replacement till then.

First of all, thanks for the fast reply.

I took a couple of pictures just now for clarification.
I don't really know how it happened, I do know that I tend to hit my hub guard on my way into a grind so that's why I thought it was due to the plastic guard not being supported all the way.

Does the new (or older, in this case) tooling prevent this from happening?

I really wouldn't mind getting a different hub guard, I understand that sometimes a part isn't made for everyone.

The hub itself is great though, I love that thing.

The Bike Shop / Odyssey Clutch hubguard alternatives

Hi guys, I'm looking for a new hubguard for my Odyssey Clutch hub, because I broke the stock one and it's likely to happen again because I broke it (twice) where there is nothing to support the plastic guard.

Does anyone know wether or not a Shadow SOD hubguard fits on a clutch?
I feel like it might be too small to fit over the non-drive side of the Clutch.
If not, do you think an S&M Symbal would be big enough to fit?
